The location of this B&B is perfect as it is close to the beach, restaurants and cafes. The accommodation itself was good - comfortable bed and clean ensuite with a small fridge and kettle. The common kitchen area had makings of a basic continental breakfast - 3 types of single serve cereal, bread for toast, milk and spreads with a selection of teas and coffee.||However as the B&B is located on a street corner, the noise from vehicular traffic at night was just too great for a decent night's sleep.

Amazing people. Friendly and supportive. Great clean rooms. There's a common breakfast area that is really lovely. It's just up the road from cafes and the beautiful harbour plus five minutes to North and South beaches.wow. Best position. Highly recommended.

This very modern B&B is located within a block from the very pretty village of Shellharbour and set a block back from the beach. A very good location! Breakfast is a continental help yourself type of arrangement but we found this to be quite satisfactory for us, they supply cereal, bread, fruit, tea and coffee. Our room was very nice and clean and comfortable with a large bathroom.

My son and I stayed at this fresh, clean, modern , easily access accomodation over the Mother's Day weekend. The room had a coastal view with only a 5 minute walk to beach, harbour pool,cafes, boutiques,cheap restaurants, and Sunday markets.Anne our host was helpful when we arrived and although there were other guests we barely heard anyone. Our accommodation included a continental breakfast in a separate, large living area with a kitchen. The only minus I have of our stay is that I had to go out and buy skim milk the following breakfast as there was only full cream milk, I feel this should be available to guests but having said that I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great position, very pleasant hosts and possibly the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen. ||This B&B feels and looks very new. It has nice views over the ocean and a great balcony. It is a short walk to the shops, restaurants and pub.

Lovely, clean and modern room with ensuite. Perfect location to cafes and walks along the water's edge. Suitable for couples. Light breakfast was just what we needed. Will definitely stay here again to enjoy this lovely seaside village. Susan

So happy that my husband and I found Cowries, it is in such a convenient location. Beautiful home with comfy rooms, very clean. Modern clean bathroom. Shared kitchen for breakfast, but as there are only 3 rooms we never saw or heard the other guests. Would definitely stay her sgain

Went to Cowries at Shellharbour Village, wasn't sure about a B&B. But was very impressed, very clean and modern.Comfortable bed, and good bathroom.||||The breaky is only a help yourself style, but good for us.You can get a train, then a taxi down only 5 minutes.||||When we left we were going to go to the shopping center by bus.Ann asked us if we like ride, which was lovely. Lots do to there, and good restaurants.||||Thank you.
