Comfortable and clean cabins in a great spot, easy walking distance to the main street, pubs, cafes and jetty.

Our family stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. It was spacious and well equipped, enough space to set up the portacot with room still to move about. Main bed in our cabin is due for an upgrade.

My parents stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin with their boat and had enough space to park it safely and a hose was provided to wash the salt off after a day in the harbour.

Overall we would stay again if headed back to cowell in the future.

New owners are very friendly and accommodating - Thank you Dee for our stay and accommodating us over the new year period.

Great spacious room. Walking distance from mangroves and town center. 2 TV's was nice, but only the main one is only SD (no HD channels). Extra large shower was a pleasant surprise while the room was nice and clean. All essentials in good condition to make a nice relaxing stay.

A great little basic cabin with a well-equipped kitchen and full-size fridge. Quite new so everything was in good condition. Provided everything we needed and was surprisingly warm and well insulated. Walking distance to the main street. Management was very easy to deal with and made sure everything went smoothly

This place unimpressed from the arrival. It is not on the seaside and has no view of water. The steps up onto the deck were very steep and handrails inadequate. Cabin didn't feel clean, clothes from previous guest were in the wardrobe and the bedding smelled strongly of "Deep heat" or similar. The bed was noisy. The frig not clean. But both bedrooms had TV.

Quiet, clean, great location, easy to find. . Close to everything that is Cowell

We only had a one night stop over. The cabin was very neat, clean and comfortable. Would happily stay again. The proprietor was very helpful and we really couldn't fault our stay there. Bonus (as I was sick) was there was a TV in the bedroom as well!

Only stayed one night due to a function. Booked a deluxe cabin (these are newer) and have a queen size bed. Compact accommodation located within walking distance to all Cowell has to offer. Comfortable bed but only 2 pillows, would like to see 4. No handtowel in bathroom, or face washers. I couldn't find any tourist information in the cabin itself, it may have been available in the office at check in but hubby sorted this out. Light above bathroom mirror didn't work, and the toilet seat was loose. Apart from that very clean and well maintained - there is a bbq area and 8 ball table across the road for guests to use.

Booked here because of disabled access and we were crossing on the SEASA Ferry each way for a night on two occasions. Stayed in cabin 7 both times. The external ramp is very steep if you require a walking aid or manual wheelchair and has a strange lip at the top. A grab rail would be an asset.||||This was a large cabin with a small bathroom and as specified by the lady when I booked it was not specifically designed for disabled people but did have wheelchair access. On the first visit, the beds were made as requested. On our return, there was no linen. When we questioned the owner, he said that linen was not usually supplied to that cabin and he didn't have anyone to make beds. After pointing out this was a requirement of our booking, a lady came to make the beds for us.||||There was another cabin with a small concrete ramp, I think it was cabin 10, which may have had better access but the owner said he was currently using it.||||It is ok for an overnight stop but there is not much to do in Cowell. The drive to Port Gibbon is nice.
