We spent a week at the beautiful Cottonwood Cottage in Glennifer. It was the perfect spot to spend the lead up, and days that followed our wedding in Bellingen. Located in a truly serene and beautiful setting, in the heart of the Promised Land, the Cottage is stylish yet relaxing and perfectly appointed to soak up the sunshine and views. It is the magnitude of special touches that make your stay memorable. From the luxury bathroom products, local gourmet produce and wine, the thoughtful and relaxing playlist, opulent linens, the lovers seat up on the hill, the list goes on! We were there in Autumn and the heated floor and fire makes the Cottage oh so cosy as the evening chill sets in. The views are incredible and there are lots of little (and long) walks you can take around Never Never Creek, or otherwise just sit back with a book from the most amazing library I have ever seen! The hosts are warm, generous and kind. We cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Suzi and Dan 🙂

My partner and I spent our sixth anniversary at Cottonwood - a one bedroom private cottage on a property bordering the Never Never River on the outskirts of Bellingen, NSW. After a long day in the car, we were greeted with an immaculate and well-presented space that had us pinching ourselves for all three nights of our stay: we woke to views of misty eucalypt mountains and birdsong, spent afternoons reading from the cottage's diverse and contemporary library, and spent evenings next to the wood stove sipping wine and marvelling at our luck.

The cottage is also equipped with a modest kitchen, a homely table, two lovely armchairs for reading and a bed as big and soft as the afternoon sky. The bathroom and walk-in wardrobe are both set separately behind the main space. There is also a porch, hifi (with playlists curated to suit your stay), and a well-stocked fridge (jam, eggs, bread, and enough other things to keep us content).

My Husband and I just spent the weekend here and we both fell in love with the cottage the property and all its surroundings
We strolled down each morning and swam in the pristine never never river we hiked the Killangoodie tracks and ended our days in the magnesium pool
Our host left us wholesome delicious treats
The cottage was so beautifully decorated with a wall of books to Choose from
The property is magnificently cared for it’s such a credit to them
Seriously you don’t need to leave but if you do there are some fantastic restaurants in town
My favourite two were Bruno’s and Osteria Fiume and for breakfast Hide Cafe
I could go on and on
