This B&B is located right on the ocean and the view from the property is spectacular. The accommodation includes a very comfortable lounge and spacious bedroom and both rooms have water views. We were treated to a delicious breakfast of bacon and eggs. Our hosts Charmaine and Garry were very generous and friendly and they invited us upstairs for a coffee and chat. In a short time it felt like we had known them for a long time. Costa Plenti is the best B&B that we have ever stayed at. |

Costa Plenti is in a great location overlooking the sea, and there's a lovely walk around the rocky headland cliffs nearby. The rooms were large and comfortable, and very clean. The little kitchenette was convenient for us to cook an evening meal on arrival, and we enjoyed a large breakfast and conversation with our friendly hosts the next morning. I loved all the sea-themed decorations, very tastefully done.

Spectacular location!!! Views of entire bay, all the way to Beachport.||Lovely walks on beach and around headland.||The accommodation is superb...whole ground floor; including own lounge, 2 bedrooms, bathroom & kitchen...nicely furnished, clean, well presented...so much space.||||Charmaine & Gary are simply two of the nicest B&B hosts we have ever come across. They were so welcoming, friendly & convivial...great company...absolute pleasure to spend time with them. Really appreciated their warmth & time spent with us...even when we arrived at breakfast 30 mins. early(forgot time difference), they never batted an eye-lid.||||"Brilliant morning, Gary; that was a special treat that Sue & I will never forget"...the dunes were awesome! ||||Collect your supplies in Millicent, on the way in...DON'T leave it too late...get a nice walk in the late afternoon...spend time in & around Southend. Better still...don't stay one night, but two or three!||The area is fantastic... Beachport and even Robe are worth visiting. We really appreciated the peace & tranquility compared to other parts of the Great Ocean Drive.||||We should have spent longer in this gem of a B&B...would love to return...very highly recommended!

People like Gary and Charmaine are the reason we choose stay at B'n'Bs. They were helpful from the moment I booked til we drove away.  We had a bit of bad luck arriving in a blustery rainstorm, but they welcomed us with a couple of happy go lucky labradors and a lovely chat. The accommodations offered a stellar view of fishing boats and the pier along with a nice yard and seasonal stream.  Don't worry about the shared bath, Charmaine manages her property so you have complete privacy. Try staying here instead of a budget motel, you'll have a chance to get to know a bit about the area, have a delicious breakfast and meet some new friends.

This generously appointed place is spotlessly clean and superbly presented. The absolute beachfront location is a tonic for the soul and the hosts couldn't be more genuinely caring without being intrusive. I would highly recommend this property as the benchmark for others B&B properties to attain to. The value is amazing, and includes a fully cooked breakfast. Thank you Charmaine and Garry!!!

The first thing that struck us was the lovely view round the bay. The second was the marvellous personalities of our hosts, the comfort of the bedrooms and the relaxed feel of the house made us feel very comfortable. Just as if we were in our own house.||Despite all the prior warnings, we forgot to eat before getting here, but we stuck it right to be there one one of the few nights when the Fish & Chip shop was open (night varies so always ask). (Spoiler alert for the F&C shop - the chip portion is huge)||A marvellous breakfast upstairs with still more views over the bay and some excellent advise of where to go whilst continuing our drive to Adelaide.||Thanbks both for all your help.

The accommodation in Southend consists of the ground floor of a house with two bedrooms, sitting room, bathroom and kitchen. We were two couples traveling together so it worked well for us. It might have been awkward to share with strangers. The place is comfortable and the views are lovely. There is a nice one-hour walk nearby. The included breakfast, cooked fresh, was excellent.

Stayed here while driving from Melbourne to Adelaide. Absolutely amazing place with stunning views. We had the whole ground floor of this couple's house. Breakfast was included and the owners were just amazing.
