The owners are very welcoming and friendly, always there to help with anything from directions to home made bread and jam.
Highly recommend to stay here when coming to Tasmania.

We had such a lovely time at Cornwall Cottage and can't thank Peta and Alex enough for their kindness and generosity. It is simply a wonderful place to stay - lots of little extras that let you know it is genuine hospitality. It was comfortable and cozy, and quiet and the view was gorgeous. Thank you.

We stayed for 3 nights in Cornwall Cottage and it was our first accommodation spot for our trip in Tasmania. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, but what impressed me the most is the amazing view, which was simply gorgeous. The environment is very peaceful (as allowed me to really stay away from the noise in Hong Kong!).||||However, it was Peta and Alec (the host) who gave me the one of the most unforgettable stay. They are very friendly, helpful and kind. Everyday we were provided home-made jams, honey, tomatoes, strawberries, bread and organic eggs from their farm, which made me felt like 'home'. That's what I called a 'home away from home experience'. Peta and Alec also showed us the farm and had a little but interesting farming experience by feeding the horses and collecting the eggs for breakfast, which we will never forget!||||We would have stayed in the Cottage longer as 3 nights went so fast, I certainly miss the environment, breakfast and obviously Peta and Alec's wonderful hospitality. Will choose Cornwall Cottage for sure next time if travelling in Tassie and highly recommend to everyone!

I stayed at this wonderful cottage for 3 nights and couldn't speak highly enough of it. The hosts Peta and Alex and charming and gracious and so hospitable. The cottage was spotless, and I couldn't want for anything. I was warm and cosy at all times, the bed is amazingly comfortable (there are two bedrooms), huge bathroom with heated towel rack, and an extremely efficient kitchenette. Not to mention the extraordinary views from the dining area! A perfect place to enjoy breakfast (which is included) of fresh fruit, home baked bread, fresh eggs from the chooks, home made jams and good coffee. I wouldn't hesitate to come back, and I hope I do, and I highly recommend Cornwall Cottage. Thank you Peta and Alec for making my experience in Hobart so wonderful.

Cornwall Cottage is a wonderful surprise. |We arrived strangers, but felt like family when we left. They say 'Nothing is perfect', but this little gem is as close as you can get.|It was such a pleasure to wake up to the lovely views, the serenity and a lovely greeting from Poppy.|The homemade bread is divine, as well as the fresh eggs and homemade jams. |Petals is always ready to help you with anything.|The longer you stay the harder it is to leave.|Situated in the centre of Hobart and Richmond it's a perfect spot to settle in to for day trips around the area.|I can't wait to return hopefully sooner rather than later.|I fully recommend you take the the time to explore Cornwall Cottage, just not when I hope to be there. Ha ha.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cornwall Cottage. Peta and Alec are great hosts. Peta's home made bread and farm fresh eggs were a breakfast treat. The cottage is very comfy and the setting is great. Highly recommend!! Mick

What can I say that hasn't already been said? ||||This is an amazing place with great views and great hosts in Peta and Alex.||||We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our Tassie experience and what a stay - this property spoiled us for every other property we stayed at. In fact we returned for the final 2 nights after a change of plans.||||Yes, we had the best possible experience with Peta delivering eggs, fresh fruit, bacon, fresh bread, butter, milk (lactose free for me), bottled water etc and topping it all up when we ran out... ||||The accommodation is lovely - very comfortable and pleasant with fantastic views to the other side of the valley. We loved just looking at the changeable view.||||The rooms were comfortable and beautifully presented. Peta takes great pride in what she offers - including hair towels, Pears soap, face washers etc etc in the huge bathroom.||||It is all very clean too - I am a bit of a clean-freak so consider it high praise from me!!||||I would give 10 stars if allowed.
