These guys are amazing! Love the thought they put into flavour combinations of the delicious food and drink offerings. Then there are the coffee and teas which are absolute tops. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. ♥️

Went in there the morning after Anzac Day so reasonably busy. My son and I sat middle of the cafe. Waiting. Waiting. Then old mate boss comes out to greet the table next to us whom arrived some 5-10 mins after. Gave them water. Talked. And talked. Fair enough building rapport with customers yet when it’s clearly a busy morning and staff are working hard and you decide to have a long conversation while others seem non important it sends a message that your business doesn’t care. While he talked and talked my son and I walked. And I don’t think we were even noticed. A pity as the staff do work hard and the coffee and food here is fantastic.

Wonderful local restaurant/cafè. Welcoming lovely staff. Excellent food and delicious coffee. Brilliant location, as well. Almo's is great for din er, as well.🤭

Nice spot just off the main part of Engadine.

Cornerstone has indoor and outdoor seating, with ample space to sit outside in the sunshine, albeit next to a road (but there's plenty of space). They also have highchairs available.

Coffee was very tasty, but served barely warm, and thus quickly went cold. I'm not sure if we just got unlucky (but we had 2 different hot drinks so I don't think so), but either way the coffee was still good. Latte art wasn't great, which isn't surprising given the temperature.

Food was classic Australian brunch food and very tasty. The breakfast burrito was really good, and the chorizo scramble was nice but a little too oily for my liking.

Staff were very friendly, especially the staff inside, but the ones outside took a while to clear our table and seemed to forget a couple of times and go off to do other things whilst we stood waiting.

We'll definitely be back, and I'll update the review when we return, as I think we might have just gotten unlucky on a couple of things.

On a trip home from the South Coast, we were looking for a brunch spot and I found this little cafe in the suburb of Engadine, just a short walk from their local shops. The corner cafe is minimalist decor, yet bright and spacious, with white and lilac hues. It serves up Steam Bros specialty coffee and a great menu of interesting brunch options that show a bit of creativity to them.

We ordered the Mushroom folded Eggs, which sees a slice of miche sourdough topped with a massive serving of scrambled eggs mixed with
grilled field mushrooms, chickpea miso butter, spring onions chervil and it is just so so tasty. That miso butter makes the dish unreal.

In addition, we also had their haloumi Bowl and they’d cooked this really perfectly. Soft haloumi, not the plastic type and lots of it too. It was served with pearl barley, tomato, cucumber, walnuts, bean sprouts & balsamic dressing. I’d personally say this would be even better with a bit of broccoli, kale or spinach for freshness.

We loved that they had a nice little kids menu, their chicken was proper chicken, crumbed in served, served with fries.

Staff were friendly and food came out fast. This was a great little neighbourhood find.

Hands down best thing to happen to Engadine!

There’s no real cafe/restaurant in the area to chill and meet up for coffee dates and corner stone is the MVP. Ample parking, enough room for mums with prams, great food and serving up the best coffee, Steam Brothers Coffee. Won’t go anywhere else.
