Despite living literally down the hill from this cafe, this morning was this first time I’ve ever dined there. I have to say I was impressed 🤩: the coffee (small double shot flat white) was made exceptionally well, with the perfect balance of bitterness and intensity, the milk frothed perfectly (not burnt 🥵). I had the fried eggs on toast with Avocado 🥑 & bacon 🥓, and my son ordered the breakfast tacos 🌮, and my dog got the Puppucino : doggy frothed milk and biscuits!

I rarely am content when I spend more than $50 on food for breakfast, but today I was satisfied with every cent spent at Corn Street Cafe! I highly recommend!!!!

Another of those great little suburban cafes dotted throughout the city. Selection of the usual treats and breakfast options, plus nice coffee. Fast and friendly service, indoor seating or outside under the footpath awning. On street parking around the corner, or if you take public transport, bus stops a few doors down.

Enjoyed everything about this rustic homestyle cafe with a distinct Mexican/ middle Eastern twist. Food would be my number one tick. My menemen, which is essentially Turkish style eggs, came to the table bubbling & delicately spiced. Breakfast tacos also another big tick. Coffee came in beakers & was on point. Pets are welcomed & have their own menu another tick

First time back since the recent refurb. The space has been transformed with a lovely island/ shared dining space plus additional separate tables.

Still offers well executed coffees and the fantastic addition of a cabinet of sweet treats, savouries and salads that would grace any meal.

Lovely coffee and great atmosphere. But I was disappointed to see what seemed to be a special açai bowl advertised - ‘Açai bowl - granola, fresh fruit and mini croissants.’ For $19, I assumed this would be a very large and impressive breakfast. But I felt it was poor value. I took a couple of bites but took a picture to show the size. I felt that the ‘mini croissants’ should not have been mentioned as a draw card. I couldn’t see them at first - they were the size of cashews (see second pic). I think a fair price would have been $12.

Food is consistently amazing. More like restaurant quality than a local cafe. Friendly staff and great vibes. The owner is fun and charming. My new go to for weekend breaky. If you are there for lunch the Corn Street Tacos are the stuff of dreams.

Fantastic brunch - we had the breakfast tacos and they were delicious. Great coffee & best banana bread I’ve had. Nice atmosphere & great music. 10/10

We wanted a Brexican brunch and Corn Street Cafe did not disappoint. Sharing a huevos rotos and Corn Street tacos was great because both were quite filling.

The blackened sweet potato had delicious caramelisation and wasn't too soft inside. It was so good paired with chorizo.

We love soft tacos and these ones had a generous filling of grilled haloumi. Haloumi can be a bit much but it was broken up well by the sharp tang of the pickled red onion. Yum!
