Solid 3 Stars, I went here from prep to graduation in year 6 3 years ago (Grade 9 now), honestly, I experienced a lot of bullying, specifically homophobic. Racial slurs were being shouted at me by other students, from other reviews I can imagine that bullying has improved. Teaching was decent, if I had a favourite teacher it would be Mr Kealy (yr 6) or Ms Taylor (yr 2). In spite of slurs and bullying I had fun, and it was good, I hated it when the school implemented iPads for year 4 right after I went into year 5, you also refurbished the entire school right after I graduated, annoying but ok.

I went to CSS from Grade 4 to Grade 6, and it's not a bad school, to say the least. There is no bullying from my experience there, but from a perspective that I have since I graduated is that they could have upgraded the teaching system as I was flouncing about thinking that I was smart and all until I had gotten a better education at a different school. 3 stars have been deducted based on the academics, and if you want your child to go to a school to help them be the best person they can be and explore their potential, this may not be the right school. In Year 6, the main focus was practicing our times tables, over and over again!

The school is quite small, there are some really nice students, and a benefit is that you get to use an iPad in Grade 4! Lots of kids there play sports, and there is a small tennis court where you can play tennis. They have an amazing music and dance program with experienced coaches, so if you play sports and are interested in creative arts, this may be the right school for you! After all, you are in your sports uniform all day, and there is little to no uniforms rules. That's all I have to say.

I went to Corinda state school 5years ago from prep to grade 2 it was really good made friends the first day! The teachers there were so nice thank you to all of them. Only problem is that once my best friend had pushed me after school and the next day she lied to the principal and told him that my brother had hit her (which was false, my brother is very shy and very nice he would never hit anyone) the principal believed her!! Even though it was impossible that my brother had hit her. My brother got in trouble for nothing! That ruined the last few months I spent at Corinda before leaving . After that I incident I couldn’t trust my friends anymore. Otherwise great school, and last thing to say is that there are classes like for example in which they mix two grades (grade1 and 2) this is slightly annoying for students who want to learn because instead of learning new things they learn the things they had last year. It happend to me and I am a student who loves learning, I was bored during most of the day. There are other schools like Kelvin grove elementary school or Milton state school, but Corinda is a really good school. But if you are a fast learner, ask not to be in mixed grade class’s

Both my son's went to school here at Corinda State School and I couldn't have asked for a better school, great staff and beautiful teacher's year after year. We first moved from a different school to Corinda due to bullying however this definitely didn't happen here and both of my children were completely looked after at all times and genuinely cared for throughout their time there. I can't recommend this school highly enough.

This place was a very nice place. the teachers are very friendly, and they support you all the way. Highly recommended. Tuck-shop food also very good and not too overpriced. The learning is put in fun methods.
