Our apartment wasn't the cleanest one. It looked very tired with minimal and dated decor. One bathroom without a separate toilet was very inconvenient for 4 guests. Furniture on the balcony looked like it wasn't used for ages, the balcony was in need of good clean, cobwebs everywhere, and it was swamped with wasps in the morning. Swimming pool next to our building was in the same state, chipped tiles, unkempt look. We were not advised at the reception at Sebel that there were no pool towels at our hotel. We had to use towels from the room, one of which was with a yellow stains on it. Underwear from previous guests was found on the floor in one of the bedrooms. We definitely won't be booking this property again.

Excellent resort style accommodation. Quiet, but with the sounds of local fauna, beautiful well kept gardens, pools and facilities. 3 bed 2 bath apartment was exceptional with an all rooms access balcony with outdoor seating, great for the early morning reflections and breakfast. Short scenic 1km walk to the best cafes and restaurants with incredible views of the ocean, and espanade lined with a variety of majestic paper bark and palm trees. Also a short drive to shops for groceries and around 30 min to local attractions like the military museum, skyrail and Cairns.
Best family holiday so far !!

Was originally meant to stay at the Sebel Palm cove but due to some booking error and them not receiving the confirmation was put up at the Coral Coast in a 2BR apartment. Only dislike was shower water was leaking into the main toilet area was getting most of the floor wet. Picture is post cleaning. Living area chairs need to be changed as very uncomfortable. Can’t lean back.

Close enough to the beach isn’t enough to save this hole. The pools are green, carpets yellow and stink of dead animals. Leaking shower and no room service or helpfulness from reception. On top of this there is no WiFi. Do not come here the reviews are very misleading

The location is great if you like being away from the 'city', but still close enough if you want to go there.

Fantastic place to stay except the staff member that served us at the Sebel at check in DID NOT offer a dongle for wi fi so we did not have any internet all week. So disappointing as we could not use our ipads or phones to look things up as no coverage. When we checked out, the lovely lady at reception advised we should have been given a dongle given to us.

My wife and I have just returned from 5 nights at the Accor Vacation Club units at Palm Cove.
We have stayed at the Sebel and the Grand Chancellor with extended family using multiple units in the past, but decided, on this occasion it was just us and there was accommodation available in the Club units so we booked the 5 nights.
The accommodation isn’t quite as “grand” as at the Sebel or the Grand Chancellor, but it was comfortable and clean and al that we required. Because it is peak season, we ended up booking a two-bedroom unit as there were no one bedroom units available Every car park in the place was occupied so, luckily, we each had a park - corresponding to our unit number where our vehicle stayed from the time we arrived until the time we departed. Obviously, we didn’t need to use our vehicle to drive to the beach because of the reasonably short walk to the north end of the beach.)

We had a couple of issues in the unit – the microwave wasn’t working, and the screen door was off its closing apparatus – but these issues were fixed as soon as we reported them to reception. This was a minor issue as reception is at the Sebel – none at the Vacation Club apartments.
However, the apartment was clean and everything else was fine. The scrub hens and curlews outside our window each morning made us feel at home as that is what we are used to at home in Cairns. Because of Covid 19 we haven’t made our regular trips to Sydney, Melbourne or elsewhere in Australia in the last 2 years, so we felt that “a holiday” close to home was warranted as we hadn’t used our “Traveller” points for a couple of years apart from donating them all to the bushfire appeal at the end of 2019.
We may have to go out there for another 10 days or so to use up all our 2019 points which have been extended until November 2021.
Accor, keep up the good work! It may not have been Basildene Manor, or the the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia or some of the fancy hotels in Sydney and Melbourne we have used Club apartments, but … life is great in the Sunshine State.

Coral Coast Resort Palm Cove Accor Vacation Club Apartments

Four of us spent a week in a spacious three bedroom apartment, furnished with all mod cons. The only grip, and a problematic one, is that the apartment had no WIFI. After a couple of visits to the office, the management agreed to reimburse the principal club member to top up her mobile data.

The environment was quiet at night until some young and loud people spoke and laughed of their voice up till about 11 pm.

The cooktop is infra-red type, and the microwave oven is a convection microwave combination.

Besides the two swimming pools, there are no other facilities. Unfortunately, the outdoor barbeque hotplate was out of order.

It was not far from the Palm Cove Beach and the Jetty. The walk was most pleasant, passing some very luxurious properties, fountains and running water, and through the board walk over a brook.

The coastline is along Williams Esplanade, which is a shopping strip with many eateries.
