The positive things about the room are the sheets are clean and it's within walking distance of the beach.
The negatives: NOISY, doors slamming, plumbing noises from other rooms constantly through the walls. Conversations from other guests heard through the walls and ceiling. Sounds of heavy footsteps, dragging furniture, the spa going at 11.00pm on a Sunday night in a room above us, then draining, followed by what sounded like people having sex.
The sliding door into the bathroom is noisy, has gaps and doesn't close properly, the same as the door on the shower.
The shower base had mould and the exhaust fan wasn't clean.
The sliding door to the balcony was really sticky and really difficult to open and to ensure it was locked.
The curtains don't cover all of the windows so there is a lot of light at night into the room.
Stingy with the toilet paper and no tissues supplied.
No instructions on how to use the tv.
In short, our stay was really unpleasant, the room was over priced for what it was, the noise level was horrible and I would never stay there again and I would never recommend it.

Liz on reception was so lovely and welcoming. The rooms were really nice abd had everything we needed. The hotel is a super short walk to the shops and beach. Was a little further out than we realised but otherwise was a great. And very secure parking. Felt very safe.

Rooms are very comfortable with smart tv so you can watch all your favourite shows. Wifi works well even during peak times. The motel is close to the beach and shops though shops are quite expensive recommend going into town for groceries. The true gold at this place that earnt it the 5 star review is Liz the care taker, she is just lovely and always smiling. Liz's laugh and welcoming attitude is guaranteed to bring a smile to any dial, she is truly the gem in this place and the owners are very lucky to have her behind the desk.

We loved our stay! The new managers are lovely and our stay was perfect - so close to the beach, cafe and surf club. Our townhouse room was clean and very specious, with both upstairs and downstairs having its own bathroom, kitchen and beds - perfect for large families or people sharing, like we were (sports carnival). Don’t let old reviews from the previous managers put you off - our room was tops! We will be back!

I met the new owners Mark and El, they are lovely people. The room was nice and clean. I went for a swim in the pool which was nice. I went to the beach and it was kinda rough but i had fun. Had a Copa Mega burger at the cafe. Its a nice hotel and location and community.

This place describes itself as a beachside accommodation. It is in a side road set behind the small arcade of shops on the copacabana front. |Not beachside. |Our pool view room was indeed above the small pool, however the view is basically of the back of the shops opposite. ||As we were only staying one night it was adequate for what we wanted. ||Overall the property looks a bit tired and dated. |The bathroom has certainly seen better days with floor tiles having staining. There are a number of of laminated sheets of instructions in broken English listing do’s and don’ts !!||Secure parking is available. Cafes and a bottle shop close by. |The beach is fantastic.

I booked very last minute during busy post Christmas time for 1 night. Location is perfect with short easy stroll to eateries, shops and beach. The room was very dirty. Smelt of Indian food/spices. Kitchen bench, stove and extractor fan thick with grease. I placed a bath towel on mattress to sleep on and did not use their pillow and duvet as were very dirty. Needs a thorough scrub with sugarsoap and bleach and in need of full refresh. Will not stay there again and will not recommend.

Parking not so good out the front, manager greeted me at the pathway, I found polite. Took my payment and I got a code sweet. I booked on booking.com and I get a message in the middle of the night saying I didn’t pay, i had my receipt. Management didn’t say anything when I left and didn’t harass me. Swimming pool is amazing, little beach town, spacious, cooking facilities. Definitely a must go to place for family holiday. definitely would return. Spa takes a little to fill, shower is great and a/c amazing sleep.
