I recently visited this local suburban bowling club with a friend, as we like to not only support local business, but also share the love. We purchased two scotch and cokes for the sum of $24. We decided to have one more drink. We paid $44 for the same drink with an extra shot of scotch. Can someone please confirm if this is ludicrous. It's not a high end bar in the CBD, or anywhere else for that matter. The same beverage (double shot) cost $13/14 at the club around the corner. Corrparoo RSL. If this is the prices a local bowling club wants to charge. No wonder bowling clubs are struggling for members. Once bitten, twice shy.

Came to have lunch for Father's Day. We were one of the first groups to arrive for lunch. Ordered drinks at the bar & sat down waiting for the menus. We ordered a second round of drinks & asked when we can order food. Bar tender then proceeds to tell us the chef has called in sick & they have no replacement for the day. As a courtesy they should have let people know as they came in instead of letting people sit for an hour ordering drinks then giving them this update. Being Father's Day it was such a disappointment as we then struggled to find an alternative venue for lunch.

Huge thanks to Damo and the team at Coorparoo Bowls Club for helping me organise and host my 30th Birthday. Even though it rained they had back up plans and were super accommodating. Great venue and awesome area given to us to set up. Good selection of beers on tap and just an overall good time. A memorable birthday - thanks again!

Sunday Barefoot bowls, with a beer or Spritz, exquisite. Took the parents here for their last day of their month long trip. They said it was the best afternoon of their time in Aus.

Best bowls club in Brisbane! Beautiful layout and vibe, well kept green and equipment. The umbrellas are large and provide great cover and shade. Lovely festoon lights and the food, omg the food!! Incredible platters, best beef cheeseburger slider I've ever had! Great selection of drinks. Perfect place for a party

Over a year ago we celebrated my son's 30th. It was fabulous.Staff were amazing. We went again for my son's 31st, so I ordered food from the online menu as directed by the new management, giving them plenty of notice. On the day, the food was nothing like what I ordered and cost $200 more than I
budgeted for. I was told that I must have gotten it wrong by ordering from the old menu that must have still been online. Well guess what, that same menu is still online and it's been 3 months since we were there last.I actually ordered a $55 asian platter and but was told they don't do those anymore. Instead I got a $200 mega platter of sausage roll, party pies and samosas that no one wanted to eat. I also ordered two nachos but received approximately 10. I explained that this was not my order, but received no help in resolving the situation. They've lost our patronage for good. Just beware, the online menu is a farce!
