This was a truly fantastic fish shop. Fish was cooked to perfection, shop staff were so busy but were super friendly. I can’t wait to go back to Coonabarabran to eat there again!

Was in town on a Sunday evening and food options were limited. Decided to try the Coona Fish Shop. Chips were undercooked and under-seasoned. Fish wasn’t freshly battered. Calamari were re-constituted. Very disappointing.

Unlike other comments I found the potato scallops average. Chips good. Fish average. Calamari mostly crumbs.

Went there after a long trip from Frankston arrived 5.15pm. Ordered fish,spring roll and chips. They were delishes. Very honest as I had over paid and didn't realise so was pleasantly surprised to get a partial refund.
Keep up the great work.

Very adequate little place that does a constant trade due to its place on the highway and the fact it's the only take away open after dark. There's nothing particularly outstanding about it as a take away place but what it does do it does well enough... especially in a quiet country town.

Excellent value and good range. Chicken burger, potato scallops, seafood basket and salad box were solid. Only 4/5 though because the chips weren't the best, could've been hotter and crispier
