This is a great motel. Large room, with kitchen and good-sized bathroom. Comfortable bed. It was clean and modern. Friendly owners. It was also nice and quiet. Thoroughly recommend it.

A gem of a motel, (of the kind you used to find often and which are now becoming more scarce), a secret treasure tucked away in the lovely town of Coolamon. The rooms are spacious and clean, quiet, with a handy kitchenette and a good sized bathroom. Karly and her husband are friendly and more than happy to provide suggestions or directions or anything else you need.
We stayed here on a recent road trip home from Melbourne and will stay again and are more than happy to recommend this motel to other people, although sometimes you should keep great places for yourself! Thank you!

When rating a motel I look for a couple of key issues - comfy bed, clean rooms, hot water with good pressure. Here at the Coolamon Motel it’s tick, tick and tick. And you can add in fluffy towels as well.||Overall if you’re in the area this is a good place to stay, quiet location, good sized rooms and fair priced.||Only downside (as with many motels these days) they don’t have a breakfast option but there’s cafes up the Main Street to feed the hungry beast.

Stayed here in June 18 to attend a function and found it a nice quiet location but still central. The room is presented as clean and spacious, the bathroom is quite modern with a nice hot shower. A comfy bed and good aircon made the stay very pleasant. I guess the only downer is the lack of any brekkie but they do have a toaster & jug with microwave. Coolamon also offers a couple of nice cafes for meals after 7am.

Phoned to book and room was ready when we arrived and the owners had turned on the heating to warm the room when we arrived. The room was clean & spacious with a very practical kitchenette and well laid out bathroom ||Whilst it doesn't serve meals It's about 20 meters from a great country pub which has an amazing menu and great value ||The local supermarket is about 400m away and are great cafe the Cheese factory in the Main Street has great coffee and scones. ||We stayed 2nights the room was and bathroom was serviced and cleaned spotlessly.||Nothing was a problem and the friendly staff help with any requests

We had decided to stay off the beaten track, in country NSW on our way to Victoria. Selected Coolamon. What a great little town. Booked in to the Sweet Briar B and B and headed to the New Coolaman Hotel for dinner. Unexpected taste sensation. The barman suggested a very tasty SA bottle of red and then we headed in for dinner. Shared the calamari salad for entree. Yum! No photos, as we we ate it all before I thought about the photo. My husband ordered the chicken, bacon and mushroom risotto and I had the grilled salmon and vegetables. All extremely tasty Would come back as a regular if we were local . The service prompt and polite . The meals excellent. Pressed metal ceilings and stained glass add to the ambience. Thanks for a great night.

Loved this pub from the get go. Classic Aussie pub layout and decor. Friendly old school publican and locals. Had the scotch fillet and was outstanding. A fine piece of meat cooked perfect by a very competent chef. Sides and garlic bread spot on. Get on it.

The meals were a great pub meal. We went back the next night also. Everyone enjoyed there meals and it was all served together. Homemade Snitzel and Chips were great, and the calamari salad. |You need to get drinks at the bar, this wasn’t a problem for us.
