Without a doubt, the best chicken schnitzel burger and chips I have ever had. The young lass that served us was beautiful and was polite. If you are in Cooktown and are hungry, you have to try here.

I didn't go into the Cafe however my son and his friend went in. I have been to the Cooktown Cafe numerous times during the 7 years I have lived in Cooktown. You can eat in, sit outside, or takeaway. There is a a wide range of food, sweets, and drinks. The prices are affordable, the service is great, and the Cafe is situated next to a lovely park if you want takeaway.

Should be renamed Crooktown Cafe. Don’t waste your time or money here. The kids cheese burger and fries for $9.50 looked and tasted disgusting. The cheap meat patty was between two pieces of brown bread cut into round shapes then toasted. I thought it was a joke when we opened the box. My chicken salad for $8.50 had 5 small chicken bites in it. The salad chicken wraps was just about edible.

Came 3 times at the shop to support and help local. Old men is rude. Ask for a medium chip, cheese and gravy. End up with only half the box of chips and no cheese. I don't recommend

Fantastic fish and chips, good size serve, great tasting and perfectly cooked. Appreciated the slice of lemon too Friendly young people running the shop when we were there 😀
