I was visiting for the weekend and decided to come here for breakfast before hitting up the beach. Arrived approximately 10.30am and was able to get a table straight away. Staff were friendly. Service was great. Food was amazing. I ordered the Smashed Avo with the addition of poached eggs. I'd recommend it.

At the beachside restaurant with a great view, this place is very popular. I ordered their recommended dish, fish and chips. The taste was okay, but the batter was a bit too thick, which slightly affected the texture. However, this might vary depending on personal preferences.

Ordered a Beach Bowl, as well as a Bacon & Egg Sandwich for Breakfast.

Breakfast was a pleasant experience, and the decorations throughout the restaurant portrayed a tropical atmosphere. A side of hot chocolate hit the spot on a rainy summer morning.

The staff were kind and welcoming.

Went to The Cooked Goose on Hyams for lunch. Upon entry staff were very friendly and attentive and service was excellent the entire stay.

The restaurant itself seemed tidy however it was a shame that views are blocked by surrounding buildings given the location.

Ordered the (basic) hamburger as well as a vegetarian burger for my wife.

The basic burger was ok, the word 'safe' comes to mind. There wasn't anything wrong with it however at the same time it was not memorable at all. The meat was ok but once again it was "mehh".

The vegetarian burger if you are that way inclined was reported by my wife as "bland and uninteresting".

Given they appeared to be the only cafe in Hyams Beach, if they could introduce some special or unique flavours, they could be a real standout.

Perhaps some of their other dishes have some good flavours. Try for yourself and see.

LOVE the Cooked Goose on Hyams !! The Chilli Eggs are delicious and tailored to the lovers of Chilli ?️!! The Brioche French Toast is another winner from the GREAT menu. The coffee is another instant fave !! Friendly, smiling staff made for a most enjoyable experience - we will be back !!

Had to chase getting our drinks twice which took 25 minutes. Happy with the drinks though they were very nice. Would recommend the cold chocolate. The salads were mixed and we weren’t as sure on the noodle salad as we thought it lacked the miso and tahini flavours advertised and was quite bland
