Looks impressive from outside but so disappointed with food and service.
Chips overcooked.
Asked for a chip fork and told they had run out !
Guy next to me had to bring back his burger as it had plastic wrapping in it.
They just had a couple of young kids working in the kitchen probably on min wage.
I had a much better experience at the fish and chip shop next door.

There’s only one other place that did this kind of level of quality seafood and that was in Port Fairy, Victoria. I usually have an issue with seafood, particularly battered fish sitting heavy in my stomach because of the oil. This was perhaps the best Fish and chips we’ve had since Port Fairy. I had the battered snapper, light and crispy, comes with chips, salad and condiments, tartare and vinaigrette for the salad - awesomeness was next level

Had some seriously good fish and chips at Cooked at Bayside. I had the whiting meal which was really good. The crumbed whiting was really fresh and chips were tasty. If you at Wellington Point and looking for fish and chips definitely give Cooked at Bayside a go. It is the best fish shop in Wellington Point.

A big statement but I don’t think I’ve had a better fish and chips. Huge portion of calamari with chips, and extra nice to not be rings. The cod was cooked really well and not oily. Couldn’t fault it!

The signage for the store front was a bit confusing as it's part of a fish shop and it wasn't straightforward where you would order from as the supposed store front with the store name was where you'd pick your order up from but not where you'd place your order.

We ordered the salt and pepper calamari meal, grilled barramundi, karaage side, and some potato scallops.

The ordering was a little confusing because of the miscommunication. I wanted the salt and pepper calamari meal, but they thought I wanted the side for that item ("SALT & PEPPER SQUID") without confirming. I only found out when I checked the itemised receipt I had asked for, and it took a while to communicate to them where the miscommunication was and get my order fixed.

They did the salt and pepper calamari, the chips (that were part of the salt and pepper calamari meal), and the potato scallops especially well. The karaage was nicer than expected, but the grilled barramundi was a bit dry.

Salt and pepper calamari meal was good value for money. They were generous with the amount of calamari they gave, and the chips that came with it were crispy and had good flavour. There was a small amount of generic basic salad.

The potato scallops were also crispy with good flavour while having a creamy firm interior.

The karaage was crispy and you could taste the marinade. While the chicken wasn't dry, it wasn't tender and juicy like it should be.

Their other grilled fish (barramundi, whiting, and salmon) that my friends got were also on the drier side.

We have eaten twice before this and found the food great however this time was not good at all. We ordered the large family meal which was disappointing.
After waiting 3/4 of an hour for the meal to find calamari and scallops almost burnt, the fish pieces not much bigger the chicken nuggets and the potatoe scallops under cooked.
Feel sorry for a young family thinking they were getting a good meal for $96.

Just when you thought that you couldn't get fresh fish and chips takeaway like it used to be, this little gem comes along.
Tried the wild barramundi and Spanish mackerel fillets grilled. Both were perfectly grilled.
Had potato scallops and large Caesar salad with it. The potato scallops were once again cooked to perfection and thick cut. All in all an awesome meal! Highly recommend!
