A very popular spot for everyone on hot days. Outside area is great.

They should really clean their bathrooms more. Pretty disgusting, and clear that someone is not regularly cleaning them, especially on busy weekend days!

I spent two nights here, visiting Sydney for a conference. This place has a really funky atmosphere with the separate venues. The room was great and comfy, however a little bit noisy for my taste. And the location - right on Coogee beach - is fantastic!

Went last tuesday at night to the pub, genuinely the rudest interaction with one of the staff. The girl with some swedish british accent who knows slammed my drink on the table. I work at two clubs and do bottle service and cannot imagine having that much of an attitude - if u dont like working, quit

We enjoyed drinks here and some entrees. The gluten free salt & pepper squid was under cooked and skinny fries were also under cooked. Wine and beer were good, great location and staff are friendly

This place has gone downhill and fast. It used to be a place that you were excited to go to with good food variety’s and in general a social Mecca. The garden are has now been transformed into a restaurant with its small tables which keeps you confined to the one group for the night unlike pre covid when it was all long tables and you mixed with others - what pubs are intended for. They’ve also become tight arses budget wise, it’s soulless on a Saturday and Sunday now with poor entertainment and then once the lights go down rubbish house music. In terms of food it’s anything but pub food. No chicken parmi (except on Monday for whatever reason), the chicken schnitzel comes served with potato salad. They don’t have potato wedges but they somehow have carrots as a side. I don’t know who they think they are but they’ve lost the run of themselves. Both burgers they serve belong at a beach BBQ. Management has obviously changed here and it’s not for the better. “The locals local”, get a grip ?
Oh and did I forget to mention, they put the price of drink up after a certain hour (as if they’re not making enough money off their $16 pints)

My husband asked the waitress to put some water in my daughter’s bottle and rinse it out
They brought boiling hot water with the water bottle and my poor husband bot knowing what is going on shaked it to be able to rinse it out and he spilled the boiling water on his hands
Im so happy my husband found out before my daughter drinks from it
Who puts boiling water in a 1year old bottle?
I also asked for a jog of sprite they forgot had to ask again and they brought me glass of lemonade n cancelled the order straight after and went off

Great beer garden plus multiple areas inside. On a fine weather day, I can't go past the garden area. Various seating options, with additional choice of full sun or shade. Food can be ordered at the table with QR code. Pretty pub type basic menu but ok if not looking for glam. Dishes arrived quickly and at similar time. Have to go to bar for drinks.

Hotel at the back of the pub….that may put you off, don’t let it! Really big rooms, very comfortable beds, good facilities ||You won’t get the ocean views but f the neighbouring hotel, though some rooms do have them, what you get is great value perfectly located quiet rooms in a great part of Sydney||If you plan to be out and about all day stay here, there is so much to see and do in the area…..right on the best walk in Sydney from Coogee to Bondi with great beaches along the way
