Lovely bright, clean two-bedroom holiday unit. Good value. Well stocked cupboards including WD-40!||Manager Dean couldn't do enough for us. Even offering to pick us up from the bus stop (even tho we walked).||We were a "just friends" seniors tennis couple, so separate bedrooms (5 beds in all) were great. Fishpen location is perfect - Canky Cafe & ocean surf over the back, and lake & short walk to town at the front. ||It was frosty at night in June, the new reverse cycle aircon didn't warm us much sitting watching TV, so Manager Dean gave us another large fan heater quick smart. ||It was the first week after the 2020 lockdown, so perhaps everyone we met in Merimbula was especially friendly. For Melburnians, winter sunny days were a knock-out.

Great position for the fisho the swimmer the walker or the even the surfer.Start your 5km morning walk out too the northern headland aquarium cafe fishing platform following the board walk over the bridge around the lake. Great take away shop approximately 100m round the cnr or coffees by the inlet only 200m away.
Rooms are great with all you need iron, washing machine hair-dryer utensils ect beds are comfortable the unit itself may be older style but is fresh and clean on arrival. BBQ available lil bit of off street parking for boats up too about 20'. Management is great given us space for our tinny and some local fishing tips of where too get what we were looking for. Will be back again. Thanks como lodge.

Wow what a great place to stay and relax nice and clean accomodation we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Dean the owner is a ripper bloke along with his cat Sox I can highly recommend that anyone looking for accommodation please give Como Lodge a go.

Positive: Not applicable. Negative: Towels had streaky marks on them. I would have preferred bringing my own. Main bedroom mattress was very squeaky even with minimal movement, just rolling over, getting in and out of the bed. Only one teaspoon provided in cutlery drawer. Manager not readily available. No information re -use of TV although manager assisted with basic instructions..

Had a booking as we were attending a funeral. Covid lockdown cancelled this and prevented us from fulfilling the booking. The lodge did not charge us even though we were within a week from the arrival. We were extremely grateful and surprised by their kindness. Will ensure we book there next time when the lockdown is over
