We were invited (as all are) to pull our van up in the garden behind the pub for the night, free no strings attached. Showers and toilets were made available though we did use them so I can’t comment there. We ate at the pub with awesome staff (Gigi and Maddie) and great reasonably priced food. The owners encourage guest interaction with cosy lounge nooks and one long table in the dining room for everyone to enjoy. What’s not to love about this place.

What an awesome country pub! We stayed in our vans out the back and thoroughly enjoyed delicious pub meals, cold drinks and a few games of pool were all enjoyed with a roaring indoor fire! Even the dogs were allowed in the bar with us to enjoy the fire! Well worth the visit and stay!

Thank you so much for welcoming me and my doggy after evacuating due to Cyclone Alfred and finding this hotel at the last minute. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean and tidy—just what I needed during such a stressful time. I ended up staying for four nights, and everything was perfect: the coffee, food, and the locals. I truly appreciate it!

What an amazing little gem to discover along our travels . Our little girl loved Susi who was the owner, she was amazing with her. All the staff at Top Gun were amazing and friendly. Great service, free camping , accommodation, shower facilities & great pub meals and so accommodating.. Do yourself a favour and drop in you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Susi & Stewart

Nice country pub in a historical town with FREE camping out the back with hot shower available. Motel also attached next door. Deep Water Hotel is a beautiful location with cattle and sheep country surrounding. Nice casual dining with comfortable couches to relax and enjoy the country lifestyle or watch the footy match in the public bar. It was very nice and warm on a chilly evening in the high country.

Thank you for your great hospitality, food and use of showers. Very dog friendly place, our puppies loved making new friends. Would recommend this place if you looking for a cheap good meal, quiet place to rest and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you Deepwater. Will come back again☺️

We had the very best night here. Stayed in a comfortable motel room although caravan parking overnight is a possibility.|Dining with other people in 'long table' setting was excellent.| It would be a great setting for anyone who is a bit shy or travelling solo as everyone here made us feel welcome. |The food was top-notch too. Stuart and Suzi are excellent hosts, and it's great that they support local breweries at their pub.

My third stay at the Top Pub and always feel welcome and revived after a long day's drive. Parked up in the back paddock and communed with the horses before enjoying a delicious cheeseburger, chips and cold beer. Friendly, warm service, spotless bathroom and a general caring vibe. Earplugs blocked out the highway traffic beautifully and slept soundly in the fresh country air. Top spot, Top Pub. Thank you!
