Here on short stay for a few weeks. How amazing is Cath and Nick. Welcomed me and said to yell if I needed anything. I felt safe and cared for. Nothing was too much. Everything beautifully cared for. Beautiful beach access always clean and a peaceful place to unwind. I highly recommend this lovely location. Thank you so much. 💖💖

I stayed here for one night, last minute due to some flight issues and no accom closer to the CBD on a very rainy & stressful night in Mackay. Cathy was exactly what I needed to get through with her super kind and friendly demeanour - she couldn’t have been more happy to help and went the extra mile. The rooms were super cute & comfy and if I was there for longer / a holiday I would have more than happy with the location! Highly recommend - thanks again for your hospitality Cathy

I have stayed here twice, both within a week, and found it to be extremely good. Check in both stays was easy with plenty of information given on the resort and local area. Rooms are very clean and a good size, bed & pillows are comfortable, along with the small kitchenette, it makes for a good stay. Great views from the beachside of the resort across the water. Only downside is the lack of close restaurants. There is a pub down the road which is a bit far to walk and a couple of takeaways closer, but have tried both of them and very disappointing.||All in all a top spot to stay whether it an overnight or longer visit.

We booked a beach front unit and so pleased we did as from what we could seen few other units had any outside seating. The grounds are immaculate , nice grassed area directly in front of one of the cleanest beaches we have ever visited. There are electric BBQ’s , picnic tables, and sun lounges all for guest use.|Our unit was older style but had everything needed, how ever it could do with a bit of a paint job, and the shower needs updating. The shower has 2 shower heads, both attached to the shower walls it would have been far better if one of the shower heads was the type that has a hand held attachment. |There is an excellent washer and separate dryer that work very well. |Sadly there was one major issue. There is no A/C in the bedroom. There is an A/C in the sitting / kitchen area but it does not push cool air down to the bedroom. |As you walk from the kitchen/sitting area down the small hall, as you reach the bathroom you are hit by a wall of heat from the bathroom which is next to the bathroom. The bedroom does have a fan, but it just pushes hot air around the bedroom. We tried turning up the A/C in the kitchen /Sitting area up but that didnt help, we tried opening the bedroom window and turning the fan on high but again it did little to cool the bedroom, which made sleeping very difficult.

We stayed in unit 42 over the weekend
The place is absolutely amazing, very comfortable with nice pillows and bed is very comfortable
We had access to all your needs from washing machine and dryer
The unit has everything you need for a family vacay
The place was clean and we had great support from staff
The view is beautiful
No need to go anywhere in Mackay this is the spot and place to relax

A lucky find after the hotel we were due to stay in was not good. 'Comfort Resort' is in a lovely location and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Setup for self catering the room has a proper fridge/freezer and ample cutlery & crockery. We only stayed for one night but if returning we would stay for a few days.

Had a very lovely weekend at Comfort Resort 😊 they are very well equipped for the stay. beds were really comfortable nice little patio to chill out on and nice walkway down to the beach.
We had a minor issue on arrival with our room and it was sorted out straight away and another room was offered
The TV worked perfectly and the kids were very happy 😊 so a big huge thank you to Carole she was amazing very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend staying here to anybody and will most differently be back.
