Booked a twin room for Christmas eve and Christmas Day. The website said in house restaurant wirh breakfast lunch and dinner available. On arrival we were informed no restaurant for the holiday period. We asked where we could find food Christmas Day .. she told us go to IGA and shop. We were not impressed and said so.. and the woman on reception said she would “upgrade” us to a cabin with a kitchen so we could cook for ourselves. Not my Christmas plan at all. The cabin had one bed.. not a good thing at all. The kitchen was also poorly stocked one set of cutlery and a microwave that didnt work properly. This was $378 for 2 nights stay! We had the worst Christmas in our 70 years. Dont stay here..drive into Gladstone and go to another motel.. Any motel has to be better than this one. Be aware the room price is minus GST which is added on. A twin room was billed to our visa at $189 per night… no food..no pool no service at all.

When I got there I think I got the very last room in the complex. I was expecting this would be the worst room. It was spotlessly clean, very well set up, enormous, and a very very reasonable price.

Front desk was just awesome and was clearly motivated by a love of the business and customer satisfaction. I will be planning a stopover here from now on for all of my Nth/sth East coast trips.

Very clean, quiet room and accomodating staff. My husband had the evening buffet. Whilst there was a choose of only 2 meals, he’s said the food was hot, filling and tasty. Deserts were plentiful. Would recommend. A minor niggle would be having only one pillow per person, admittedly I did not ask for additional so cannot complain.

This motel is disgusting.. We have been using this motel for years and started paying $99 then price went to $116 then $129 and calling this week it was $159.. 3 weeks ago we paid $116.. Their reasoning is it is supply and demand because there are a lot of shutdowns and companies are putting their employees up there they have increased the price.. “ isn't that called price gouging” ..The main lady is so very rude also..Room was disgusting and old and shower not working we have videos of this.. $159 is so|Extreme for a terrible room|and very disappointing that they don't even care to look after their regulars.. we will NEVER go back and we will be telling a lot of others that go that way. Plenty of other really nice places around them|For a lot cheaper..

Booked room paid went to room dark and dingy. Asked to be changed room good however no hairdryer, bed cover filthy underneath had been turned over. Noise a huge problem never slept hardly all night with suspect was loud washing machines going. When’s did get to nod off woken at around 4.00- 4.30 by staff. Quoted priced for Buffet charged double was definitely not worth what charged. Would not recommend or stay here again.

Nice, clean and comfortable room. Friendly gentleman on reception. Buffet dinner good. BIG problem was noise. Woken at 450am by staff!!! Breakfast is prepared and cooked early for workers, fair enough, but keep the noise down for those of us who do not need to be awake so early!! No chance of going back to sleep, constant disturbance! Spoiled what was otherwise a good stay. Hence 2☆

Hotel in an old nursing home. Large room and comfortable bed. Self serve food (no vegetarian option). Friendly staff. Could do with some modernising to make it feel less like a nursing home but a good price for a comfortable room. No internet in room but strong internet In reception area and a comfy place to sit.
