What a fantastic 72 hour rest area, toilets showers at $2 and some sites you can hook up to water taps.Good level area dog friendly, information centre on sire Huge amount of things to do in the town at low cost. Lunch menu at two venues in town $10 &$12 for a good selection of dishes.
Well worth a visit.

We recently camped here as we had to wait for our friends car to be repaired nearby.
I don't think I've seen public toilets and showers so clean. $2 hot showers.
Very well maintained area. Dog friendly aswell.

This is a fantastic setup for travellers. Water hookup in some spots, clean and tidy amenities along with a friendly, knowledgeable caretaker at the Information Centre. There's also a great book exchange when the information centre is open. The townsfolk are cheerful and friendly.

This is a really nice, well organised and run campground. Don't be put off by the camp rules, they are only common sense really. The amenities are very well presented and are a credit to the cleaning staff. We stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Put your receipts and donation in the places provided at the info centre. They log how much travellers spend in the town. The figure is surprising. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful. Typical country people. So thank you Collinsville, we will return.
