Centrally located within walking distance to town centre. Very clean, neat and today, well presented with great parking. Walk thru the back gate to the pub and main street. We travelled from Townsville, nice drive, to attend the annual Bacon Festival! Great weekend ! Friendly locals. We will be back.

I spent 3 nights here recently and was very happy with the room. The beds are comfy, great aircons, even the ceiling fans are more than enough on those hot days. The room was very clean and the manager and staff are very friendly and polite. I will definitely stay here again.

Travelled here for work. The rooms are very clean tidy and comfortable. After a long day on the road it's a nice place to end up. The staff are friendly and helpful at check in and they are accommodating to any needs. The Workers Club next door is good for a drink and a meal and is full of local workers (as the name suggests). There is a nearby pub as an alternative. The showgrounds are over the road which is great for a run or to stretch your legs.

Clean and quiet room. Not much in terms of service. Has a small fridge, kettle, and microwave. Serve its purpose for a good rest.

Enjoyed my overnight stay here. Clean and tidy and shower was hot with good water pressure. Rooms had ceiling fans which is a nice change from just air-conditioning. You do get a hum of road noise (trucks) though but that is expected given the town is a mining town. Motel does not do food but is next door to a dining place. Staff very friendly too

Standard motel, could do with TLC. Has coffee maker, microwave & toaster. 5 minutes walk to main street. Hassle free after hours check in. Noise coming from inside ceiling/roof - probably animal.

Very friendly and helpful manager, clean and comfortable room. It’ a very busy town, however would love to stay here again. The price is affordable, and it’s not far from the main street. The Motel has a free wifi, and free car park that made my stay more enjoyable.

I spent a night here for work and was very pleased. Although only rated a 2 star hotel, it looks more than than. The bed was very comfy, hot water worked great, and there was a fan in the room which is always a positive. I'd definitely stay here again.
