Hands down best pie I’ve ever had in my life. What a surprise to discover that our local bakery does the BEST pies. I love a good chunky beef pie and the flavour of the pies here is delightful. We will be coming back regularly to keep this local gem in business!

Bought two cheese and bacon pies and a chocolate lamington. The pastry for the pies were perfect, a couple of bites in we couldn’t identify what the slight aftertaste was, the gravy was a bit burnt, but it was still edible. The chunky meat was beautiful, perfect amount of bacon and it tasted like real cheese and not liquid cheese was used, which was amazing. The lamington sponge was light and fluffy, seems like it was thoroughly soaked in chocolate (yum). Would try again, the staff were lovely also and served me quickly.

Super friendly service. We got our steak pie and cheese steak pie. The pie was so big and yummy 😅. Plus, a lot of steak inside pie and the pastries were perfectly crispy. Thank you.

Been some time since i visited and as the shop have commented the shop has changed, I have visited a couple of times now only for bread 🍞 and I'd love to say the shop looks much better and they lady that is on the counter is lovely great to talk to and friendly yet to try anything else but in time I will. If you are a local and haven't been seen the renovations I recommend the visit even if it's just for bread as I can confirm the bread is beautiful and baked fresh.

Very dissapointed, This is my closest bakery and it's in a very convenient place but it is absolutely horrible, How they can keep the doors open is beyond me.

Back story I visited 3 years ago when we first moved to the area and I told myself never ever again the food is old, Fast forward 3 years decided to try it again surely they have improved.

Purchased steak cheese pie 🥧
Cost - $5.30
Taste - Terrible actually tastes old if that's a taste barely any meat
Pastry - Soggy bottoms cooked in foil trays the top was so over cooked it's like it had been in the warmer for a decade
Temperature - 🌡 Boiling like it was already cooked what are they trying todo cooked it twice

I will not br back unfortunately once the sushi place next door opens up I'll be surprised if this bakery even remains open.

If you are the Baker how do you think this is acceptable 🤔 you know better hopefully serving up old products is a joke.

I wouldn't actually mind if the doors shut and somthing new comes. Or preferably a new Baker comes people don't mind paying for quality so don't start that excuse.

The open times also are ridiculous bakery that doesn't open early mornings for the trades is losing so much buiness

Anyways we won't be back and by the look of the other reviews alot of others feel the same way

The pies here are outstanding.
Good flavour. Good meat ratio. Great amount of filling. Not over thickened with cornflour as so many pies are. I was pleasantly surprised.
Granted, I did have to use a knife and fork as the pie was a little soggy bottomed, but that literally is the only criticism. Excellent value for $6.40 a pie. Seems steep but so worth it

You always hope for a good quality, well priced pleasant tasting experience when you go to a local bakery, unfortunately it is not always the case.
Rays Patisserie, which is now Collingwood Park Patisserie would have to serve up one of the worst, no the worst custard tart I have ever had.
One of my joys as I travel Australia is to go to different bakeries and on most occasions, enjoy a custard tarts. Sinking you teeth into a nice cool tart, with that lovely custard flavour and the crunch of a perfectly cooked pastry, a little taste of cinnamon and maybe even a sweet vanilla taste is so pleasant.
Unfortunately the tart I bought for $4:00 at Collingwood park patisserie could best be described as a watery, sloppy, tasteless tart, where the strongest taste was the dry pastry, that attempted to contain what ever the fill was. This was not a one of, I had one from here before that was just as bad, but it was so bad, I wanted to see if it was just a one of and sadly the answer is No.
Price wise in the area, $4 is at the high end for tarts in the area.
I also had a meat pie from the shop that was ok, but again at $5 it’s in the high end for the area.
I often wondered why this shop was quite when I passed given its catchment.
