I suppose you can call this place a “hidden gem” because it quite literally is tucked away on an unassuming street, not far from the Anglican Cathedral.

But i have to say, this is my favourite coffee shop in Liverpool. I have been twice now and i have not once been disappointed.

A little place with a laidback atmosphere, a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. That’s the way i’d describe it.

I usually sit upstairs, as it doesn’t tend to be busy, and because it’s a relaxing space with chilled out music.

Batch brew was great as it quite often is, highly recommend.

Croissant was soft, buttery, and most of all delicious.

My go too coffee shop, 5/5

Overall this place is great and a fantastic addition to the coffee scene. Really friendly, welcoming and the coffees are great. Service can get a bit chaotic when there is a rush on, take away people left lingering and two people working to fire fight. Had asked for water with my coffees as was sitting downstairs and it never appeared and couldn’t bring myself to add to the frantic nature of service when I was in. Not a deal breaker, and I’ll be back.

A place where you can sit quietly in a side street and enjoy a quality coffee. The staff is also very friendly.

Really cool little place with a great chilled out vibe. Went here to work for an hour on my laptop. The barista who greeted me was so friendly and helpful, and the music and coffee were perfect. Will definitely be back!

Great experience, I came here a couple times and I enjoyed both. I recommend to come. Cappuccino if you want something good but if you’re looking for something not too stirring, a flat white if you want to taste more coffee.

just had a takeaway coffee and really liked the mood of the bright light coming inside on the big table(couldn’t take picture cuz someone was sitting and reading a book). pastries and cake also looked nice, might have tried if I didn’t already have some in my bag.. the black coffee was average though.
