Not rated for food as we only had coffee. Pleasant, local coffee outlet conveniently located next to a bakery and a newsagent. Good amount of parking on site and even has a spot to hitch your bicycle.

This hidden gem is the home of Brisbanes best coffee. Contrary to some other reviews I found the service to be excellent. The staff were engaging and the coffee was amazing.

Just moved to the area and thought this could be our new local. But sadly not. Forget about service with a smile and don’t be in a hurry because if someone comes in after you that she knows, you will unfortunately have to wait for your order. Will not be going back.

Have finally given up on this coffee establishment. Have been frequenting it for nearly a year and a half, 2-3 times a month and every time been given a steely, cold service style for no apparent reason. Have tried to engage with polite convo several times to no avail.

Have read similar reviews from others and I also agree there is a strong feeling it’s because I’m not immediately local even though I live in The Hills District. Also seem to wait for coffee over daily customers even if I’ve ordered before them. ? Not only is this highly inconsiderate, but it’s demoralising and makes you feel you’re not valued as a customer.

After supporting them through 2020 and 2021 with covid takeaways, Coffee On The Way is not on my way anymore and firmly in the rear view mirror. It costs nothing to smile, be polite and nice to others so I’m off to get a smile from a barista elsewhere.
