I have never been verbally abused by a barista (owner) before. After 18 minutes wait for a coffee and biscuit when I asked about my biscuit when he delivered the coffee he said "I only have 2 hands". When I said he shouldn't speak to customers like that he literally said he wouldn't give me my biscuit. I had actually prepaid for everything. When I confronted him about his customer service he literally hit my shoulder and pushed me out of the cafe. I am a 64 year old woman and have never been treated like this when I am a customer. After 48 years in customer service I can say this is the worst customer service ever. I would give it minus 5 if I could.
What type of person pushes a customer?
Another sad thing is despite several customers being in the cafe no one spoke up while I was getting verbally assaulted or offered assistance after. A great welcome to Forster, not.
Edit Terry Pearson, you definitely didn't look close enough as he did push me and if it was incorrect the barista would have had me in court by this time.
I was back in town and the cafe was closed with a business for sale sign. I hope the barista is gone by now.
You haven't saved the world yet.

I have never waited 30 mins for just coffee until I visited this place. To be honest, the coffee doesn’t worth it as well.

Also another little thing; the employees should learn how to smile and be kind to customers.

We stopped into Forster on our way from Rockhampton and luckily happened on Coffee Grind. The coffee was excellent. We asked for 3/4 milk (or low tide) as we like our coffee on the strong side. The froth had a nice body to it and the coffee blend was smooth and flavorsome. It was the best coffee in our 3 week trip to Qld and back.

The coffee is fine but too small (large!) and way too expensive. There are better options in Forster. Unfriendly staff as well!

The Customer is not always right

I witnessed an unpleasant customer at Coffee Grind the other day. She became angry and steam slowly emitted from her orifices. Her mouth then moved into action.

Matt, the owner and purveyor of coffee extraordinaire and delectable eatables responded saying: I only have two hands.

One wonderful thing about Coffee Grind is that the coffee is made to an individual's sometimes, quirky requirements; this takes time.

The meals are also individualised. This construct of time enables customers to engage in social discourse. It has been claimed that clients of Coffee Grind have solved world poverty. The customer had an opportunity to socialise and philosophise, but chose to 'do a Putin.'

The customer may have been suffering from irritable bowel syndrome or other such conditions. She tried to harness support from her embarrassed companion, but to no avail.

The service was considered slow by the customer Sandra Austin; you can't make a valid point by compiling falsehoods.

While I witnessed the so called fracas, at no time did I see Matt the owner, touch or push you as claimed by you. This appears to be a fabrication on the your part.

The customer is not always right.

Coffee Grind's salad wraps are out of this world! Cara puts so much love into them that you can actually taste it...... I'm not a coffee drinker myself - but my Mum drives 3 hours for a Coffee Grind Cappuccino!
The food is always fresh and the staff know exactly how I like my Vegemite on toast cut without me having to request it - now that... is a service.
