This is a decent quality country motel. It has larger than average rooms with large beds, good showers, and a comfortable lounge setting. No restaurant on site but good pub meals available just across the road. Quiet location. Efficient check in.

This is a nice quiet motel and conveniently located only a block or so from Cobar’s centre. It was very clean and comfortable with good parking close to our room and excellent heating on a cold night. The Wi-Fi worked well. There is no on-site restaurant, but you are only a short walk to the town centre with good bistros in the hotels. The bed was very comfortable, we’d certainly stay here again.

Dated motel but the room was clean and comfortable for a family of 4.

1 queen bed and 3 singles.

The motel is easy walk to clubs, pubs, both IGAs and a number of cafes.

Listing on Wotif showed bar, bar/lounge for food and drink and room service --- There is none. The receptionist was generally disinterested. The room was part of a pair of rooms and an adjoining door had no lock and was secured by placing a table in front of the door. The room was tired and badly in need of refreshing. The room was clean, and the bed good, but otherwise was undeserving of a high rating. Wotif should review this listing for honesty.... it is false and misleading.... that is unacceptable. If you are desperate for accommodation in Cobar - its ok, but they need to lift their game. We would recommend planning your trip to skip overnight in Cobar.

I had the executive room, nice big room, very comfy, bed was great. TV reception ok,
I did NOT like the shower, pressure was reduced.. Might have to take a spanner with me to remove the reducers.. haha no no no, don’t do that.
I didn’t like having to step into a Bath..
I loved having a second sink in the kitchen area, don’t see them very often, but it makes filling the kettle etc so much nicer. Thankyou Great idea.
Location is perfect, right around the corner for a bakery, a good mornings walk down to the pioneers park to check out the displays, short walk down to the supermarket for Milk etc for breakfast.
This was a Quiet room, so pay the upgrade and enjoy peace and quiet.

We enjoyed a comfortable stay at the Cobar Town & Country Motor Inn. Easy check in and out service over a long weekend. The room was clean and very spacious. Good price and very conveniently located.

Dingy old motel attempting to appear something it is not.
Restaurant “closed until further notice”, assume the bar is the same, but still advertised as being available.
Definitely not 4 star.
