The B&B was clean and the hosts were able to accommodate to dietary needs for breakfast. The B&B looks out over a tranquil bush setting where we watched wallabies lazily wander by and there were so many birds and butterflies. The B&B is close to the beach - we were easily able to walk to Pam Cove to sample the coffee shops and there is a restaurant within easy walking distance of the B&B as well. Our package also included the retreat with Shivani who made us feel welcome and provided us with some tasty and healthy lunches, a relaxing treatment everyday and time to sit back and contemplate life! We really enjoyed our stay - we spent three days here and definitely felt more relaxed by the time we had to go!

I was given a 3 day retreat as a birthday gift from my husband. The retreat included 3 nights at the b&b, light breakfast every day, healthy lunch every day, a massage and facial, and a treatment. Yoga was also offered. Upon arrival I was welcomed by Alix who showed me my room. I stayed in the air conditioned green room with queen bed, small kitchenette, ensuite, and tv/dvd. The room also boasted a balcony overlooking bush and the tropical inground pool. This alone provided much needed relaxation. The beach is a 3 minute walk from the retreat. Shivani provides the treatments/massage/yoga etc onsite in a very relaxed atmosphere. The owners and Shivani were very welcoming and attentive to my every need without being intrusive. I highly recommend taking the 3 day retreat for some peace and calm in your life! I loved every minute of it.

Alix and Pearce have created a great place to just relax, away from the tourist bustle. Their property is in a residential area, so its very quiet but just a street away from the beach. The rooms are cosy and well-kept and you get a nice selection for breakfast. We didn't rent a car but it's easy to get a bus to the big mall if you need supplies to or walk to the village shopping centre for dinner. We had a lovely time here and would stay again if we ever visit the area again!

I stayed for a couple of weeks and found the vista of the trees from the almost treehouse room just wonderful for resting and relaxing. There is a great little kitchenette in the room and the host lent me juicing equipment that I put to good use. There is free wifi which was a real bonus as I had some webinars that I needed to watch whilst I was there. I found the dogs barking and construction noises at different times a little annoying (the host provided me ear plugs which helped a lot) Overall it was a really wonderful place to stay and I would love to come back again and again. The pool is nice and fresh and just metres from the room too. The location is a good walk from the bus stop and just a block from the beach too. Got some great photography done on the beach there too 🙂 I particularly loved the green linen and green walls. It was a very healing time to be on "retreat" there.

Clifton Beach is one of those places that stays in my heart for many reasons, one being that I lived there with my husband for just under 8 years back in the 80's and 90's. So when I go back and stay there, it's like going back in time, and staying at Clifton Beach Retreat, is tranquil and perfect for the time I need to write or just wind down. I love the environment the location and the proximity to the beach. I would have no trouble referring this venue to others, as it really is good value, clean and peaceful.

We spent 7 nights here in October 2014. A beautiful place to stay and very private and only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach. Our hosts Alix and Perce were there for our needs but gave us complete privacy. Our room was immaculate and breakfast was plenty. Everything is magical: nature and calmness help you to find balance and work on your inner peace. Alix and Perce, the owners, are super friendly and nice. Rooms are wonderful, location is amazing. |Shivany is there to offer you meditation, yoga, energy healing or even SPA sessions. |You definitely need to come here to disconnect and find your balance. Priceless!

Beautiful setting only minutes walk from the beach. Bush surrounding the property, and a beautiful salt water swimming pool! It was a delight to be able to have our dog with us too. I highly recommend this accommodation.||Host was lovely too:)
