For a small museum in a country town the Clermont Historical Centre is punching above its weight. I really enjoyed the exhibition on the life of Rose Harris the saddler, a heroine of the floods, and I also enjoyed the outdoor area with all the tractors and steam engines. The grounds are immaculately kept up and it was a very pleasant couple of hours.

Always a must do when we have family and friends visit us. There are a lot of items that provide nostalgia and memories for older visitors and lots of “what’s that” questions from the younger visitors. It also gives some great insight into to the history of Clermont and its surrounds.
