Lived there for three years in the older part. There is a BIG divide between the three areas, older, general and "over the bridge". Even though we owned two other houses outside this we were always "from THAT area". Management definitely could do more to update the place, it is looking very run down and tired compared to other Villages, with constant whispers of sale and pulling down which Management really should address. Because it is not a secure property there were many break-ins. The indoor Pool is constantly cold and both pools are often closed. The Bowls area is very small and needs to be replaced. Gardens need major clearing work.
Having said that, you will find some people with the biggest caring hearts on the Planet.

This over 50s resort is horrid they are rude to the elderly . They do not keep the pool clean ,Are rude to the residents if they complain . I lived there for 4 years and have been back to visit friends and there are at least half of the residents not happy at all in there . The residents are lovely but management it’s all about money . please be careful when moving in there they are all nice at first but you are only money to them Don’t take any notice of all the good reviews. Drive around and talk to the residents your self to get the full picture

I came here 6 years ago as they advertised a heated pool. In those 6 years I have known this pool to be like warm 25C 3 times - the rest of the time the water is VERY cold. Public area maintenance is poor as there is only 1 maintenance person working and the promised security is a joke. Other than that, residents are positive, helpful and have set up a number of free activities - craft, toy making, bowls, exercise, monthly dances and social get togethers/outings.
