A special thanks to Hannah, who went out of her way in looking after us. Cheerful, professional and kind. We had the amazing Gourmet Food Box just before the show.

Had lunch here today before the matinee show . We arrived around 11.40am I ordered coffees and then took photo of menu board to show my friend.
We both decided to have a Chicken and a mushroom crepe so I went to order at around 11.45am only to be told there were none left.
I said how could that be when it is so early into lunch service and asked what else we could have and was told whatever was in the display counter.
All that was there was one salmon pasta bake in a takeaway container and one Thai beef curry in takeaway plus a couple of croissants, some sad looking sandwiches and a few paninis.
I ordered the salmon pasta and Thai beef. Thai beef the meat came out cold, it was rather tough.
I noticed many people going in hoping to get a nice meal only to be told no food.
When our meals were served they were in the takeaway containers not served on crockery.
Very uninspiring lacklustre meal and frankly just not good enough.

Stopped in today for lunch. As a family with dietary restrictions going out often can be a hassle trying to find somewhere to accommodate our requirements. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the whole experience was pleasant. The food was great and our 5 meals were served quickly. we all had a great time and would happily recommend as a place to go and have lunch

our of our family had dinner before the Superstars show last night. Had a set menu $44 each with a shared bruchetta. Bruchetta was very salty, Fish was on the menu but didnt have any and pizza-oven they said wasn't working. Beside the set menu there was only chips or sweet potato chips or sweets. The 2 medium rare lamb roast we ordered came with 1 small broccolini a couple of small potatoes which amounted to maybe 1/2 a potato and lamb with a bit of gravy on it. It was nice but was very small not worth $44, the other meal was chicken with the same small serve of 1 brocollini and potatoes. Chips came but we ordered sweet potato chips for the other dinner. Didn't say anything as it was time to go to the show. We also had 2 coffees and 1 soft drink. Not impressed and the cafe also took my credit card no. to secure a table beforehand when I booked.
Would have had a couple of pizzas supposed to be nice- but pizza oven not working. Staff were nice though.

Pre show meal for $44 per person was terrible. An entree that was small for 2 people. The main was not up to standard. Veges cool, some cold. Should have gone to the pub, it would have been better value.

We preordered the “Gourmet Food Box”. Very disappointing. Not sure if they were cherry’s or red grapes but they were rotten and inedible. There was no salami, vine leaves or cornichons. Minimal crackers and chewy semi sun dried tomatoes. There was a sprinkling of peanuts and some dried citrus and nothing to wash anything down, not even tap water. There was no allocated seating and we were forced to sit in the mall area. Please do not waist your money on such a disappointing box of rubbish. As I’ve said before, you have been warned. 🤪

Any theatre restaurant advertising pre-show lunches at 12.00, then NOT serving wine, does not deserve patronage by loyal Hunter Valley residents!
You will find better service, better meals, a quieter garden AND a generous glass of wine at the C Hotel just east in Hunter Street.
