The lady who checked us in was so friendly and helpful with her directions and recommendations. She was also very kind and understanding when I accidentally spilled pressed powder on the carpet in the room. A great central place to stay and beautiful pool area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short Christmas break. First-time visitors, but will be back. City Oasis is aptly named, being a 5-10 minute walk to the Townsville CBD. The pool is to die for with an open spa and hot spa. Small improvements could be made, but, overall, almost perfect.

I only stayed one night but I will be back. Basic, but lovely and clean. The bed was really comfortable and there was a selection of pillows on the bed. Soft and firm. Just perfect. I had just come off night shift, so I just needed to get some sleep. I didn’t get to look at the pool area. Maybe next time.

Rang at 10am and booked a pet friendly room. Was told to pay on arrival. Drove for 5.5 hours, rang reception on arrival and was told sorry no room available due to a/c problems. They had our phone number all day. Very poor service. A call would have been nice.

One of the few pet friendly places to stay in Townsville.

It's central, fairly priced, managed by friendly staff, and the rooms are comfortable.

Not a single complaint. 🙂

After driving all day we were very impressed with being 'upgraded' on arrival. The bed was especially comfortable. A clean and functional room, we were glad to have this accommodation. The bath inclusion was also appreciated.

Stayed two nights at City Oasis! Fabulous staff, a friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Well located at the top end of town. Easy walking distance to Woolies, restaurants and the stadium, but in a peaceful location.

Room was spotless and water pressure was fantastic!
