We chose citybeach function centre for our wedding day and it was the best decision we made from the very start in planning and communication nothing was to much for these beautiful ladies Michelle and Marina they went over and beyond for our beautiful day we can't thank you and your whole team more.

City Beach in a great spot - food was excellent - staff friendly - what more could you ask for? Parking was a tad full probably because we were trying to park right before dinner time on a warm summer Saturday.

I don’t even know where to begin! The team at City Beach were such a huge part of the success of our day. From the very early stages of planning right through to picking up items after the wedding, nothing was too big or too much trouble.
The atmosphere on the night was great, with the team popping up just when you needed - like they have a sixth sense!
With many guests travelling, they were impressed with the beach front location and accessibility to Wollongong. The food was another huge winning factor, every single thing we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was run flawlessly and we could not be more grateful that such a big part of our day was in their experienced and capable hands.

As a disabled bride, I thought one of the big things I'd have to sacrifice was a venue. I've always wanted an outdoor wedding but I also needed to make the day as easy as possible for myself to minimise the chance of pain flare ups. With City Beach we got everything we wanted. A stunning outdoor ceremony overlooking the beach & mountains & a reception with the safety of cover, but still surrounded by the beauty of our beaches. The team were always on hand to help with anything & everything & were always quick to respond to my many, many questions. They worked with our weird centrepieces & made our reception room look like an incredible dream world. No issue was too big or small for City Beach & when our wedding car broke down they even offered to come to our rescue. The food was absolutely delicious & they were incredibly accommodating when it came to dietary requirements & as a vegetarian with a husband that isn't a vegetarian that was greatly appreciated. Their MC & DJ did an incredible job & made all our guests feel amazing & got involved with all our requests like the Bohemian Rhapsody sing-along & promoting our local RSPCA for my toy dog toss, with the hope that the person that caught it would be the next to adopt a dog. It's an absolutely stunning venue in a very special spot with a team that are completely dedicated to making your day everything it should be.

City Beach was the perfect location for our Company staff conference. It’s super easy to locate, the lighthouse and oceanfront views beautiful, and its internal layout provided functionality and privacy for our conference.
Melissa and Marina provided a welcoming, friendly and highly professional approach throughout the entire experience, from organising our IT /AV needs, and availability throughout the event to assist with specific requirements. The catering was the best we had ever experienced during a corporate event!! Thank you City Beach we will certainly be returning.

To all the Staff at City Beach Function Centre you have excelled yourself. If this is the standard you have tick all the boxes. From the wedding party to children that did not stop smiling and dancing a huge THANK YOU.

I have was super impressed with the service, food and the attitude of the staff. They kepted an eye on all the guest and pre-empted table drinks so you always had something to toast with during the night.

A personal message: You have help make my daughters dream of a beach wedding with a beautiful reception come true and as a parent I cold not ask for anything else

So I had a event to attend on tonight at city beach and I wasn't very impressed by the looks of the chairs made out of wood for startes I felt very uncomfortable sitting on it and for the price of $89 for a 3 course meal for adults For entree for the adults was disgusting Grilled tofu On some rubbish salad for startes when a person is gluten free and then chicken pumpkin grapes and gravy did not like it one little bit for kids meal Chicken schnitzel chips and salad was fineBut the ice cream
