Lovely place to have a hot or cold drink and recharge. They had lovely pastries. We had the scones and oat apple crumble cake, so delicious. The lady was on here own working so hard and being so friendly. The interior is a bit old, but for a quick stop it’s really nice.

If you’re in the mood to be thoroughly disappointed and robbed blind, this cafe is the place for you. $25.53 for a dry, cold sausage roll and a pie so hollow it could double as a balloon — and yes, that price includes a mystery “weekend surcharge” they don’t bother to disclose anywhere. Good luck finding any prices at all; nothing is marked, because apparently they prefer the sticker shock to hit once you’re at the register.

The sausage roll was an embarrassment: dry, flavorless, and barely lukewarm after a 15-minute wait (microwaved, no less) despite only one other table being occupied. The pie? A masterclass in deception — two-thirds greasy puff pastry, one sad teaspoon of filling, and zero care.

The staff matched the food perfectly: low-energy, disinterested, and seemingly inconvenienced by the presence of customers. If you like paying premium prices for fast food-level quality, cold service, and a side of regret, this place will absolutely deliver.
How embarrassing. Do better 👎

I came across this little gem whilst visiting Blackheath. I had the BLT, made with the freshest Turkish Bread. It was absolutely delicious. Followed by a chocolate brownie, which was warm & served on a beautiful slate heart dish. Staff are really lovely and you are allowed to enjoy your meal at leisure. Also a great place to meet friends and chat. I will be back.

Popped in for coffee and cake yesterday. Staff seemed putout by our arrival - they carried on with their conversation for five minutes before acknowledging us. They were unfriendly and disinterested in assisting with dietary requirements. We eventually receive our cold and weak coffee, even after asking for extra shots. We were almost done with drinking our coffee when the cakes eventually arrived. All they required was to be removed from the display cabinet and placed on a plate! BTW we were the only patrons at the time. Needless to say, we won’t be back anytime soon.

Started with cold hot chocolates. The two beef burgundy pies were disappointing. Couldn't eat them the meat tasted old and off. Though they insist the pies were made fresh this morning...the meat was old. Was told its up to personal taste. No apologies...well I am sorry my taste buds know what good fresh food is. Not going back....

Coffee in an unfamiliar place can be hit and miss. This place is a hit. 2 very good flat whites and some tasty freckles. The pies and pastries looked amazing as did all the baked goods.

Lovely little cafe. The pies (beef and burgundy and chicken and mushroom) and sausage rolls were 5 star and the hot chocolate fondue was amazing. Highly recommended
