My wife and I were driving from the Gold Coast to Longreach. First stop overnight was Chinchilla. The Chinchilla Downtown Motor Inn is central to all facilities and across the road from the RSL Club where we ate (excellent meal). We were greeted by a very friendly and informative manageress. The room was excellent. The bed was kingsize and oh so comfortable. Great room . Price was $AUD175.00 for the night. Very reasonable. This place is to be highly recommended

This was a business trip but this place was the place I would have booked and it didn't disappoint. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the environment quiet and calm. Across the road is the RSL and the food was excellent and the wine the same, which is an unusual thing for such an establishment. Next time I am out this way I shall stay here again - thank you all concerned!

The staff at downtown were great organising a room last minute after having issues with other previously booked accom at another place! It was late afternoon and they went above and beyond. The room was very nice, clean and very comfortable! Can’t thank them enough for getting myself and my daughter out of situation.

We had the pleasure of staying there for 3 nights, the first plus was management, she's great and friendly, secondly, the room we had was fantastic, huge bed, kitchen facilities, small but good size for the room, spacious bathroom, the room was more like a studio apartment. Biggest plus was the fact it was across the road from the rsl,which meant no driving. Would seriously recommend this motel

Very pleasantly surprised when we opened the door of our room. It was very new, modern and clean with good facilities and an easy walk to restaurants and the grocery store. Also very quiet being well away from the highway. The breakfast we had was fantastic.
