We stayed there this weekend January 2024. It was the most peaceful experience I have had in a long time. Cabins nestled in quiet bushland with such a great range of things for everyone to be part of: recreation room with great pool table, table tennis, movie room and a beautiful pool in the bush. You look up and just marvel at the eucalypts and the sky. The BBQ area is amazing. It's been recently renovated and has a full sized BBQ, a pizza oven, beautiful bench seating and comes with all the utensils you need to get a great meal going. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly. Old Bar beach is just down the road and is a great contrast to have with the bush stay. There is limited phone reception which is fantastic because I completely switched off and the kids loved it! We will definitely be returning. This is a great place which has been recently renovated and I feel like I've been on a weeks holiday in one weekend.

Great setting in the bush. Very quiet except for birds. Amazing facilities. Apparently they took over from the previous owners a year ago, and they completely renovated the bbq area and it even has a pizza oven. They really thought of everything. There is also a large recreation room with cinema! It is a small place with only 4 cabins, which are also being renovated and already have new equipment and floors. There is even a free to use washing machine in the cabin itself. It is very clean. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Chiltern Lodge. The cabins were lovely and well equipped. There were several areas where our group could spend time with each other. So many different things to keep kids and adults entertained. The owners looked after us. Our stay was only a few weeks after bushfire but this did not impact our holiday. We can’t wait to go back again!

Thoughtful hosts. Tranquil setting. Great facilities. Very suitable for young children, especially with cubby house, animals, and fire engine. Swimming pool, pool table, and ping pong kept everyone else happy. Have been coming with large family group for years, and new owners just as wonderful as the previous ones. Thank you 🙂

Oh wow, it was just perfect! I’m blown away with the location, close enough to town and beach. Cabins are so comfy and had everything we needed. Our hosts went way and beyond to make our stay perfect and organised everything and gave tips. We went for massage, horse riding, beach, dinner at flow bar, mountain biking, hikes, lots of swimming!|Cinema room was a huge kids hit, glad we brought some DVDs and a glow stick box for party in the dark.|I’m just so blown away and glad we got to stay together in this perfect relaxing place!!! Ps: I would love to have an outside kitchen like this....

Perfect place for a getaway We were a group of 16 adults. The units are 2 bedroom basic but very clean and well equipped. Our group used the outdoor entertainment area and pool spa area. This area lacks nothing. Crockery utensils glasses bowls etc whatever is needed has been thought of. Has a large barbecue and pizza oven. There is also a large entertainment room for wet weather but the outdoor area is undercover and has an open fireplace so can be used in most weather. Situated in bush setting but a short drive to beach. We are all going back next year for a longer stay.

We have just had 4 fabulous nights with friends to celebrate combined 60th birthdays. We booked all 4 cabins - the facilities were spotless, comfortable and very well equipped. The hosts really looked after us. We highly recommend this getaway!!

Peaceful place to stay.
Lovely lady, friendly attitude
Great games room a movie room, Bbq area, pool, spa area.
They have walk and bycicle trails. Great children area to play in.
The cabin had a kitchen dining and lounge area and has a washing machine, also a fire and it goes really good.
Can sleep up to 6 in the 2 bedrooms so good for families.
