I stayed for 2 nights. Friendly staff. The rooms are large, clean and well maintained. Set back from the main street so no traffic noise. A kitchen available for self catering. Pool good and surrounded by high shrubs for privacy.

There is nothing inherently wrong with this room but there is absolutely no value for money whatsoever. The room was fine - standard highway motel room with a shower curtain that reaches out and grabs you, a tiny sink that is impossible to wash your hands in without also having a shower and a toilet seat that falls on you as you sit on it. The bathroom also has 3 toilet rolls for some reason and nowhere to put clothes while having a shower. All of this is nitpicking and the room is fine but cost us $170 which is extremely overpriced for what it is. We had booked on bookings.com and were told when we arrived that it was an extra $20 because we didn’t book through the motel directly. Childers is really nice but if we pass through again we’ll be staying somewhere else.

Booked last minute as an overnight stop. Lady on reception was very friendly and informative on local area. ||Clean, comfortable and quiet stay, despite being very handy for the main street. Easy parking too at the back. There's a kitchen area on the top floor for self catering and a supermarket just down the street plus various bars and cafes. ||Pool looked nice and clean too but didn't use.

Very clean, modern & comfortable accommodation. The location was perfect, situated right in the centre of town. Motel was behind the buildings on Main St, which made it very quiet with very little traffic noise at all. Convenient for everything and good value for money. Would recommend.

Great motel with well equipped, clean rooms and very friendly service. Perfect location in the centre of town with off-street parking.|We were visiting Childers for an event at the Grand Hotel and this motel was the perfect place to stay and great value. Being able to check in early was a nice bonus too. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

The room itself was fine, clean and comfortable, pleasant decor. The bed was super comfy. Good location, off the main street. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room had a desk & chair, microwave, couch, chest of drawers. Small TV on wall. If you can overlook the bathroom issues and are not fussy about where you stay, you will enjoy staying here.||Unfortunately for us, the negatives outweighed the positives. When parking at rear of motel, first impressions not good, thought it looked a bit derelict. The motel building itself is an odd design, not very attractive. Our room’s bathroom was bizarre - basin too small and mixer tap too big … very difficult to wash your face or brush your teeth. Impossible to wash your hands without splashing water on the floor and on your feet, really annoying. Toilet roll holder rusty and not securely fixed to wall. Nowhere to put toiletries except on glass shelf on shower wall - not practical. No hand towel provided - was given an extra bath towel in lieu of. Something in our room (the fridge?) made a loud noise every 30 mins or so.

Great motel with rooms 1 street back from the main road so you don't get the truck noise at night.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, with beds that are just right.
Easy walk to the centre of town.
