If you want flash camping this probably isn't for you. Portable loos, and the showers are like water tanks, so it's all real bush type stuff, but I'm happy enough here. Hosts are beautiful people, the camp kitchen is huge, so a great place for people to get together. There is no power here, but bbqs, gas stove to boil a kettle.

Peaceful and relaxing bush camp just south of Childers. Great big sites with water available, clean toilets and basic clean showers. Beautiful beside the dam especially at night with the stunning solar lighting. Ticked all the boxes. Thanks for 3 lovely days.

I was unwell on our recent trip and the owner was very helpful and accommodating. We love the lemon scented gums, the spaciousness, the hosts, clean amenities, the kookaburras and wallabies and the great camp kitchen.

I stayed here just recently with my father and daughter. We came last minute and were looked after very well by the manager on site. This sweet soul has created an incredible place for people to come and enjoy the sweet scent of eucalyptus and enjoy what nature and off grid facilities have to offer.
A hollowed our water tank shower - was such a cool experience for my daughter !
Lit up trees and a gorgeous view of his dam!

Not only did this great site give us an amazing experience but they set up a movie on a projector for the kids .

No rooms, looked like glamping tents were on site. Always lovely to see.
Beautiful spacious deck area to watch movies and cook in the kitchen.

Nice open space to camp. Quite and peaceful.
Served with a smile. Lovely care takers.
A serene out of the way, get close by place to enjoy a peaceful weekend or stay a while.

Beautiful 2 night stay in the Nature Parks Glamping tent.
Secluded spot with your own dining, camp kitchen, utensils and fire pit. Matt dropped us off new fire wood, and the staff were overall a joy to chat and get local advice from.
The tents do have some wear and tear, but for us who wanted the camping experience without loading the car full of gear, this was perfect. Highly recommend! Pet friendly.

We just went up to this beautiful campground on the weekend of the childers festival 24' and we all came away so happy with the amazing service from Matt and Reen and their family.
We hired the glamping bell tent for a girls weekend, all we had to do is throw a pillow and a bag of clothes in and everything else is done for you, right down to the firewood cut up in perfect sizes in front of your personal fireplace. For the childers fest week, they had a bus service running to the events in town so we did not have to fight for parking and could enjoy a few at one of the local watering holes.
Matt and Reen provided us with all the details of the events taking place in town and bus timetables where they were taking people in and out, almost every half hour or in time to meet the events taking place.
The campground has hot showers, toilets, a communal kitchen, dams, a creek running through the back of the property with nature walks weaving around, their children had a dog walking service and best of all, very friendly smiles from the owners. Will definitely be going back again soon.

Great stop to break up our big drive. Comfortable air beds for all, good blnkets, (brought our own pillows), camp kitchen provided, great seating area and free firewook. Kids loved it. Toilets are clean and shower is warm. Much more than a campground. The glamping tent was roomy and comfortable. Getting a little old, but still great. Service was impeccable and very friendly staff. Loved it!
