My 5yr old son recently started group lessons at Chiggys skateboarding with Maddox. My son is very reserved, I couldn’t believe how well he took to Maddox. Maddox is amazing with the kids and really knows how to work with them in a fun, supportive way. My son absolutely loves his lessons with Maddox, he is fun, engaging and so genuine and in return the kids flock to him. My son has learnt so much since starting his lessons and has more motivation than ever to practice since his positive experience with Maddox

What a hidden gem. Awesome location with an impressive indoor setup for all manner of skating (inc scooters) in a safe environment with different ramp setups for all skill levels. A bonus being they can operate in any weather conditions all year around. They have loaner boards if you're just trying it out or don't yet have your own, and also a good range of parts, supplies and seriously sweet looking boards if you're in need. The owner (Mat) also has his own designs too with Friends Skateboards, so be sure to check those out. Staff are really freindly and helpful. They do all kind of events, skate parties and coaching also visiting local skate parks all around the region. Check out their website for hours and more info for costs ($20 for 3hr session) and/or membership or private hire. They generally open around 12.30am?-9.30pm most weekdays, and open earlier during school holidays (9.30am I think?!). Pretty sure I was told they do bbqs on Fridays too. Definitely worth checking out if you're trying to get the kids out of the house. Will definitely be taking my son.

My three boys had their first lesson at Chiggy's Skateboarding yesterday, and they were very new to skateboarding. Coaches Luke and Maddox were awesome with them. The boys absolutely loved it!

I was surprised by how much they were able to do after just one lesson and am looking forward to seeing their progress over the coming term.

Awesome stuff, and I cannot recommend Chiggy's highly enough! If you're looking for a fantastic skateboarding experience for your kids, this is the place to go.

This morning at Wondai skatepark was our daughters first time on a skateboard. Chiggys came and set up everything for the kids. They provided all the gear and guidance (no charge) that made her experience fun and memorable. She is 4.5 and excited to keep learning fearlessly.

Two of my kids have done lessons over the last few years as part of the school curriculum (Yandina) with Matt (Chiggy) and at the indoor skatepark with Vince and both have been attentive, inventive and amazing with my kids. They have learned confidence and cool tricks. It’s their favourite day of the week & always finish the lesson on such a high! We will continue to be a part of Chiggy’s for a long time coming.
