Chick N Coop is our favourite place locally to get takeaway. The roast chooks are always cooked perfectly and delicious especially with their homemade chilli sauce. Chips are always fresh and crispy. Can't pass on their portuguese tarts and ceasar salad if they're available too, I highly recommend! Never had any issues with customer service, Christina and her staff have been nothing but friendly and professional. I was surprised to see the 1 star reviews honestly, I've been coming here weekly for a year and have had no issues with any of the complaints I've read about.

I love getting the chips here but I haven’t been in a while so I asked what oil they cook it in and she asked why I needed to know twice then I explained my allergies and when I explained she said with allergies I should never eat out quite rudely. I won’t be coming back. So rude! Plus they gave me barely any chicken salt and the chips were somehow cold even though they just came out of the fryer.

It was a disappointing experience do not recommend but food was okay. We ordered a meal with chips, but they were out of chicken salt, which came as a surprise. Additionally, they were out of buns, so we had it on a roll instead, which was not an issue, considering it was a public holiday. We spent about 1hr eating when a female employee with black hair proceed to locked the back door, ignoring our calls and deliberately avoiding eye contact. This surprised us that despite the staff having observes us when we made our way through the store to access the patio area with two prams they would leave us stranded with the prams, contemplating how to negotiate the steep staircase for our exit through the back. It took five minutes of banging on the door before the chef came and allowed us back through the store, exiting from the front. A simple acknowledgment of closing time and offering us the option to exit through the front would have sufficed in terms of customer service. It was apparent that the staff member was conscious of her actions, as she actively evaded eye contact as we passed through the store towards the exit.

Came out on Friday afternoon at 2pm to coop chicken to try for the first time there peri peri chicken.
And they told us they don’t start making the until 4pm.
For a chicken shop this doesn’t make any sense on a Friday afternoon as Lawson is a very busy time.
Definitely highly recommend not using this place.

Love this place. The food is sooo good. The peri chicken burger with fries and sauce is my go to. Huge serving of fries, they are perfect. Really good, caaring, kind customer service too.

Have driven past this place hundreds of times in a truck but haven’t been able to stop
Had the chance to stop this time in the car and was not disappointed, the best burger I have had had in a long time
Had peri peri and the wife had the cheeseburger both were 10/10
