The staff were so amazing and made us feel so welcomed. They were very attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. The food was delicious, the corn ribs were phenomenal! They have $10 margaritas on Sunday and the kiwi was probably my favourite margarita I’ve ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our night. We will definitely be back!!!

A friend and I went here for drinks and a bite to eat on a Sunday for their 5pm to 10pm $10.00 Margaritas. We had a 5pm booking n arrived 10 mins early. We were made so welcomed and the lady said we had 8 mins to order their Happy Hour Cocktail before the Margaritas went on the Happy Hour deal.. I wasn’t aware of this but how awesome was it of her to tel us this. So we ordered our cocktail and I had the most delicious cocktail called the White Chocolate Chica Colada. Oh boy! It was dessert in a glass, absolutely DELISH! Then we ordered the Margaritas which was plenty to choose from. I had the Spicy Mango and Guava Coconut, both, again, DELISH! We also ordered the Share Plate of Squid and Tequila Chicken, again, delicious. The Staff were all so friendly and just beautiful. I have been going here since they opened but the new Manager and her Team are the best. I highly recommend this place.

We decided to check out Chica Chica for their Wednesday night specials—$10 classic margaritas, $7 Tecates, and $7 house wines. Upon arrival, we mentioned that we were likely only interested in drinks. We were seated, and before we even had a chance to open the menu, we were asked if we wanted water, sparkling or still. We chose still, and then were asked if we wanted guacamole or hummus while we looked at the menu. Feeling a bit awkward, we agreed to hummus.

We ordered a classic margarita and a Tecate, though we would have opted for wine had it been available; unfortunately, the $7 wine special advertised on their website wasn’t an option on the menu that day.

The hummus arrived, and while it was a different take and done quite well, I’m not sure we would have ordered it had we seen the price first.

The drinks arrived, with the Tecate having a chili-salted rim and a lime wedge—a nice touch. However, the classic margarita was incredibly disappointing. It was heavily unbalanced, with far too much lemon, making it extremely sour. For a place that features a margarita menu, this was a real letdown and raises concerns about the quality of their other offerings.
This was particularly frustrating since the margaritas were the main reason we visited.

When we received the bill, we were shocked to find a $10 charge for the still water, which we hadn’t expected. It felt quite sneaky to be charged for a bottle of water without a heads-up.

Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and we left feeling like the whole thing was a bit slimy.

The food and cocktails were delicious, so rich in flavour. The staff were also so friendly and helpful with recommendations which was so appreciated as the entire menu looked so good.
I only wish we’d come sooner. Looking forward to our next visit!

We were disappointed when visiting here recently, especially as we had high expectations.

We had the guacamole to start, the roasted cauliflower, crispy chicken tacos, chips and two mocktails.

The guacamole and chips were tasty. The cauliflower hadn't been cooked enough and was practically raw. The flavours weren't very nice either. The crispy chicken was mostly batter and the chicken was very dry, again the flavours weren't great. My mocktail was bland but my partner's was good (the passion fruit one).

The staff were very friendly, but then only cleared half of our plates and didn't bring the bill over when asked. They instead started to put cutlery away for the evening. They also didn't offer desserts.

The restaurant was pretty cold inside, despite having a heater blowing down my neck and the lack of soft furnishings made it very loud.

Such a great local restaurant for the family. Have been here with kids (earlier slot) and also later dinner with just us adults. Service was very welcoming, food was delicious and great value! The bar decor adds a special touch. So nice to have fun dining spots on our end of the central coast.
