Beautifully luxurious and welcoming spa date really sums it all up. As we walked in we were greeted with warm beautiful smiles.
Lena my masseuse had a fabulous smile, so friendly, polite and very professional, she had very experienced magical hands that helped this mother of 3 (including a 5month old bubba) relax, feel pampered and drift of to sleep between the silky soft sheets. It was an amazing experience.
We’ll definitely be back soon and hopefully have time to enjoy the spa and pool like my gf did, she said it was wonderful. My gf also loved her masseuse.
We felt so relaxed, pampered and well looked after by the team.
The 30mins facial and 30mins massage as well as the hand moisturising rub were all amazing. I loved being able to try and pick the scents we liked and the products from Sobashi were of high end quality and made in Australia from WA.

Bought the ā€œGet Glowing for 2ā€ package as my anniversary gift for my partner and we loved the experience and environment! Definitely worth it.
We were also giving a complimentary glass of wine during out stay at the spa.

Luxurious and Thoughtfully Designed Spa Experience

Every detail of our visit to Chi, The Spa at Shangri-La was meticulously curated to create an unparalleled relaxation experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed in the beautifully serene spa reception before being guided to our treatment room. The ambiance was calming, setting the perfect tone for an indulgent experience.

Before the treatment, we were given a choice of scented or unscented massage oils, each carefully explained before we inhaled their soothing aromas. The massage bed was exceptionally comfortable—heated, with a delicately scented towel in the headrest area, silky sheets, and thoughtful pillow and hand rest placements to ensure complete relaxation.

The 60-minute massage was pure bliss, with expert techniques that melted away tension, while the 30-minute facial was equally divine, using products with the most incredible scents and soothing textures.

Post-treatment, we were led to a cozy relaxation area where we enjoyed a hot cup of tea and a delicious cookie, allowing us to fully soak in the tranquility. The experience extended beyond the treatment itself, with access to the pool, gym, sauna, and spa facilities. Every detail, from the plush robes to the fluffy towels, contributed to the overall comfort and luxury of the experience.

A truly rejuvenating and indulgent spa visit—I can’t wait to return!

As a birthday present I booked a couples 60min full body massage and it was amazing! the girls used the perfect pressure and got into our shoulders where there was some tightness and we both walked away feeling amazing. The spa itself is so lovely and we were given a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to enjoy afterwards. Highly recommend it is a luxury!!

I had a truly amazing experience at Chi Spa! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming and welcoming. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit. I had a deep tissue massage and it was one of the best I’ve ever had—my therapist was highly skilled and really listened to what I needed. The space was spotless and beautifully designed, creating the perfect environment for relaxation. I left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already looking forward to my next appointment. Highly recommend Chi Spa to anyone in need of some serious self-care!

I had a 1 hour relaxation massage at Chi as part of my stay at Shanghai-La in Sydney. It was a wonderful experience and I was well taken care of by Jony and other staff. It was enjoyed the opportunity to have a herbal tea and shower after the massage.

Myself and a friend booked a couples wellness day with lunch at altitude restaurant on level 36. $600 for a 90 minute treatment plus lunch and access to the health club facilities for the Day. While we thought this was an excellent deal, we weren’t highly impressed. It wasn’t terrible, just very average.
The spa was nice, the room pretty and peaceful. My treatment was OK. The therapists were noisy moving around the room, loudly splashing at the sink and dispensing oil from empty containers. Lots of bumping the bed and clattering around. our massages were very inconsistent with one having a dry brushing with smooth (correct) swipes and another being scrubbed to within an inch of her life! The facial was good. After the treatment we were left to our own devices and almost missed the lunch as we didn’t know the time. It would be good if a staff member looked after us through the package as we weren’t.
The lunch was ok, food tasty and view good.
The health club was disappointing. We were looking forward to relaxing by the pool and having a read, a dip in the hot tub and pool and sauna. It was more reminiscent of an old leisure centre. Changing rooms were small and badly layed out with no places to change and everyone crowing to get into the very noisy lockers.
The hotel itself is getting old. Facilities were run down, such as broken doors and shower taps, and the pool was small, and full of children screaming and splashing. Big ugly wet floor and warning signs all around. It wasn’t any feeling of wellness retreat, I would suggest the ā€˜access to health spa facilities’ wasn’t advertised as premium as we felt quite disappointed and left early due to not even being able to find a seat to sit on.

So relaxing and the sheets were so soft that I drifted in and out of sleep. The therapist Roongfa was very skilled technically and even advised me on the certain muscles that were very tense and how I could help relieve it.

Perfect!
