This was some of the best fish & chips I’ve ever had! My sister, brothers and I all got the Fisherman’s Basket, and it was all fresh, hot, tasty, and perfectly deep-fried without being greasy - all for a very reasonable price. Chicken salt was evenly spread across the chips and the perfect amount as well. Considering we came in and ordered four of their biggest meals as well, service was incredibly fast (as well as friendly). There was also a park across the road with picnic tables and a lovely view while we ate. Would recommend Chef’s Catch to both tourists and Tassie locals visiting Beauty Point.

Great fish and chips not greasy, ice cream was beautiful.
The staff were friendly and happy, views are great and seagulls are on a wanted list in the shop.

Went here when it was very quiet and peaceful after visiting Seahorse World due to the time we arrived. The lady behind the counter was funny and upbeat. Food was banging, had the Jaws Burger and also tried some seafood bits and pieces which were all tasty. Washed it down with a Spreyton Cider which also hit the spot. The location was great, and plenty of parking on the street. Also as a bonus I read some of the reviews here and the responses from the owner are priceless. I'll be coming back to these when I need a good laugh.

Chef’s Catch is a really good Fish ’n Chip shop in Beauty Point. Open till 8pm. We had two Local fresh fish (Flathead) and the Loaded chips. Dine in at the tables. Service was great. Atmosphere good. Also have salads, and ice cream.

Had a fish and chips here. The owner was very friendly. Fresh fish, good food, cute sharkpucinno. Portion wise, was a bit small. The rest is good 👍

Yummy fish and chips!. $10 for good value battered fish and chips. Cheeseburger loaded fries were delicious. Lovely mousse only $6! Beautiful view and great service. Highly recommended and worth the drive.

All round fantastic!

Food was absolutely delicious, fresh, generous serves and well priced.

Our family group ordered fish and chips, hamburger, loaded chips and a seafood pack. Best chips I've had in a long time, and my burger was absolutely perfect.

We also came back in for the van Diemens ice cream and for coffees, and both were great.

Service was really good too. Our food didn't take too long, staff were friendly and the woman who made our coffees was really lovely with our small kids.

The place seemed really clean, the view is beautiful, and the location with park facilities across the road was handy for letting our kids burn off some energy.

We will be back again.

The flathead and gummy shark were incredible, the batter was just perfect, it didn’t flake off, it wasn’t too thick, had the best crunch to it. Highly recommend the fish here, the calamari and scallops were also nice, chips were however just a little hard. Would 100% come back to here again, staff were also very friendly and funny. Whilst you’re here take a try of their ice cream too, it’s a nice sweet treat after your meal.
