We are in Sydney on holiday from the UK.
We were so impressed with Chedi Thai and had a lovely evening. The owner Greg was very welcoming as were all his staff. The food was amazing along with the ambience and the restaurant looked great too. We would thoroughly recommend!

I stopped by for lunch and I ordered Chilli Basil Fried Rice Vegetarian. I must say it’s a wonderful place to have your lunch/dinner. Fine dining, great ambience, parking at front, great customer service and the owner, Greg himself interacts with customers. Their chefs are very well trained and known to produce great dishes that fill your appetite.

Fantastic healthy food - we love it. We come here all the time (weekly) and are never disappointed. The spicy basil beef and ginger chicken are a highlight and the brown rice option is so appreciated and great.

Good (but not amazing) food, friendly servers, decent ambience are the best ways to describe Chedi Thai. The menu is an interesting mix of Chinese and Thai dishes (think dumplings for entrees). We went as group of 4 (no reservation) and were able to be seated immediately on a Friday night which was great and to make things even better Chedi is BYO. Lastly Chedi is a tad bit more expensive than other Thai places nearby but overall it was $120 for our party of 4

Disappointing.
Sat down and ordered satay skewers and 2 basic mains, a curry and a crab fried rice, both on their signature dish menu.
Very long wait time, I feel they forgot our order as 3 tables had arrived after us, ordered
After us and they had their bill paid before our mains had even arrived.
have been stitched up paying $32 for essentially a bowl of fried rice. Obviously you don’t expect much crab for the price but there wasn’t any at all.I could only find remnants of a fried egg as pictured.
Menu description needs to be edited to not deceit. Maybe I just got a bad batch as my friends curry was decent.
Overpriced but I suppose mcmahons tax so normal for the area we live in.

This is our new go to thai lunch place in north sydney. The restaurant is nice and spacious and the owner and staff are funny and welcoming. The food is a mix between thai faves and modern western twist for lunches. Prices are reasonable with very generous servings. A pad thai can probably feed too but who's complaining. Came here once for work colleagues birthday and were so impressed with the food, staff and atmosphere that we now order for dinner and come here for regular team lunches. Highly recommended!
