Amazing views up and down the beach and pretty much a block or two from anything in Surfers Paradise. Sure, the rooms are old and somewhat tired, but the cost was half to two-thirds the price of anything remotely nearby. The room was worn but clean, shower was hard and hot, bed was very comfortable ...and the view!!!! I didn't use the pool (unfortunately) but it looked like a great space.

I would definitely stay again if I'm not wanting to pay stupid amounts for 'luxury'.

Beautiful views along the long beaches from every room in our spacious apartment on the 15th floor. A friendly welcome and efficient check-in. Rooms are comfortable but attention to minor maintenance and cleaning issues will improve the experience. WiFi and TV channels good. Lovely pool area, with hot tubs and sauna/steam rooms. Location is great: across the street to the beach and a short walk to shops etc.

I stayed for 4 nights recently in a beachfront room.

Pros - the location is excellent. Wonderful view of Surfers Paradise beach and to go for a swim you can't get any closer with a patrolled spot across the road. Price is good and probably the cheapest on this part of the coast. Free undercover parking.

Cons - no air conditioning in the room I stayed in. At this time of year it was stifling heat although I knew it had no a/c when I booked. The lifts are slow and the foyer on the ground floor and on the level I stayed in were stuffy and the heat stifling. The room needs some maintenance. Nothing is broken but everything is just old and badly worn. The floor of the room I stayed in was grimy and unpleasant to walk on. It needed a mop before I checked in.

We enjoyed our holiday in this great hotel right above a patrolled beach. They have worked hard to fix the problems people found and I didn't find any of the issues mentioned. Large tiles on the floors make it easy to keep clean and cool. Nice modern well-stocked kitchen. Bring your own extra towel if you object to paying three dollars for a new one. Magnificent views - we saw whales playing so bring your binoculars! An older building built in 1972 but that gives it some charm. Pool is large and there are three nice outdoor spas and plenty of banana lounges around it. Huge TV screen! Thanks to management for the very nice stay.

I had an extremely disappointing experience during my recent stay. The place was mouldy, dirty, and poorly maintained—comparable to a neglected public toilet. It was far from the standard I expected. the condition of the property made it impossible to enjoy the stay. I wouldn’t return even if offered a free stay. This place needs serious attention before it can be considered suitable for guests.

The rooms are not great don’t be deceived by the photos as I found out the hard way. If you’re on a holiday think about how much more fun it would be if you invested a bit more money in a nicer hotel as this one will simple ruin your mood. The staff is kind and understanding though so do keep in mind. Last time I stayed at Mantra which is less then 100m away from here and it is truely a great hotel by far even if it is a little bit more expensive it’s worth it in the end.

The location and outdoor facilities, including the pool, steam sauna, and spa, are excellent. However, the indoor experience was extremely disappointing and nothing like the photos. The bedding was subpar, and the lack of room service or cleaning added to the dissatisfaction. Initially planned for a weeklong stay but left early due to the depressing condition of the room. This hotel is not suitable for a holiday, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Its an older hotel, but clean and so so handy to everything. Our second stay in a different style of room and cant complain about a thing and the price is great also!!|I Love that I can park my car when we arrive and dont need it again until we leave!|Will choose to stay here as often as possible, great views and the pool is lovely also!!|You won't be disappointed especially if yr on a budget!!
