We loved our stay here, 3 nights next to the creek. Steve and Ursula are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. We took part in the smoked dinner on the saturday night and were very full and happy.

Happy hour at 5pm each day is a great way to get to know other Campers and have a chat.

The facilities are well kept and tidy. The new amenity blocks going in will be awesome.

We'll be back for another visit once the brewery is finished, for sure!

10/10 place to go. It’s beautiful, quiet, tranquil. The owners Steve and Ursula are such kind and hospitable people. Cannot fault them or their incredible place. |I enjoy the tour they host, & facilities they offer. |Everything is top tier. |Looking forward to the microbrewery opening soon. So much to offer and only more to come. Also offer their own beers & waggu beef, my favorites being, Melon Beer & Golden Nuts. |Will be back again & again.

This has to be one of the best little campgrounds we have ever stayed at.
We stayed there during the chinchilla melon festival and we’re blown away by how good this place is.
Everything about it was beautiful.
I opened a new distillery on the weekend as well, which is going to be a massive asset.
I/we highly recommend this place for anybody travelling through looking for a place to stay

Great place for camping, awesome brewery that has just opened with good options for drinks. Food was great I loved the pies! Overall great place for a drink while having a more chill setting sitting out side or inside.

My favourite campground. We found this little gem 12 months ago and purposely detoured 6 hrs this trip to spend 3 relaxing days here before heading home to Bundy after being on the road for 7 weeks. ||Have not had the pleasure of meeting Ursula as yet but Steve is a great host. Very easy going and accomodating. ||Enjoyed happy hour with a cold brew of Steves and sadly missed the Smoked Brisket this trip but cooked up a couple of pieces of wagyu for dinner. || Unfortunately we were a couple of weeks early for the brewery opening but we will be back. ||New ablution blocks were arriving a few days after we left and to be honest that was probably the only thing that needed upgrading, but these things take time. ||Such a quiet, tranquil place to put your feet up and recharge. ||Definitely will be returning again in 2025.

Wasn't the best experience I have ever experienced
The power keep tripping & buggered the caravan's Hotwater unit, & also blow a fuse in the air cond unit but was an easy fix.
The owners are just RUDE & on Wiki Camp page, which thwy give themselves a 5 star rating when replying to people reviews.
Even the locals in town, when asked where you are staying were shocked & didn't have a nice word to say for the owners of Charleys Creek Campgrounds.
Definitely would not waste my time going back, EXTREMELY EXPENSE, WAY OVER PRICED $60 per night.
I SENT AN EMAIL ABOUT THE ELECTRICITY TRIPPING & CAUSING FAULT TO OUR BRAND NEW CARAVAN & THIER HAVENT HAD THE RESPECT TO ANSWER OR REPLY TO IT. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
Next time, I'll go either the Chinchilla Show Grounds or out to the Chinchilla Wier

Do yourself a favour...Great location...well spaced flat sites. Powered sites and non powered sites.Toilets and showers. The Saturday night meal was an experience not just a meal. I know so much more about farm life and wagyu beef. Waiting for the brewery but happy hour at 5 to meet everyone. Come and see Chinchilla less than 4 hours on good roads.What are you waiting for Brisvegas!

What a way to finish our 2 week trip away camping. Relaxing , inviting , welcoming camping space with the availability of power , water ,amenities on the Charley’s Creek also on the edge of town.| Hosts Ursula and Steve provide a great facility that accommodates for all styles of camping. Also have a happy hour with some of Steve’s brew which is a treat. Looking for the brewery to be fully operational. |If you come on a Saturday they have Steve’s Smoked Waygu Beef which is available to be booked , so dinner is sorted!!!!!With the meal comes an informative presentation about what this family does to sustain a farming family. Farming, camp hosts and family life . Kayaking, fishing , bird watching , some farm tours can be booked. Lots to do.
