The matcha flavor is excellent; the iced matcha latte, matcha puff, and matcha cheesecake are all delicious. The Tan Tan noodles were impressive. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely come back if I have the chance.

When people say hidden gem they mean places like this..Hidden in amongst offices,this little cafe is a joy..From the moment you walk in the staff greet you with a smile and you feel so relaxed..A very extensive Japanese menu.This was all new to me so I'd thought I'd be adventurous and get something I've never had before..I had a black sesame seed latte and omurice then took home some yummy Pastries.. SW had kaarage chicken curry..

Dropped in for lunch on a cold miserable day. It is always nice to try a newish place and hope the expectations meet the reality.
The cafe is spacious, clean, plenty of room with spaces to sit inside or out.
You order at the counter from a menu or select from a refrigerated cabinet. The menu has the best selection although the cabinet did display some lovely looking sweet things and a few wraps.
The service was friendly and the food appeared pretty quickly after ordering.
I had the Teriyaki chicken with rice, my partner had the Omurice which is a savoury rice topped with an omelette.
The meals were beautifully presented and the food was tasty.
We also had coffees; a matcha latte and a cappuccino. The matcha latte was certainly different with a strong herbaceous taste but it felt "good" in a healthy way.
There appeared to be no vegetarian options at all with even the salads containing chicken. Which is a shame as we would definitely be back if such an option existed.
A great addition to the eating options in Nerang with not only takeaway and sit in options available but phone in orders and delivery locally too.

My new support worker took me here for our first day had a cappuccino and the most awesome banana bread my support workers pastries looked awesome it was lovely to see how much she enjoyed them and had to hold back some takeaway hehe
Highly recommended awesome staff lovely atmosphere 100% awesome afternoon dispute the weather but did not affect our outdoor dinning experience well covered

Chanoyu Cafe is a hidden gem! the acai bowl is a vibrant and healthy treat, topped with fresh fruits. the matcha and hojicha lattes are perfectly crafted and oh-so-soothing 🥰🍵🫶 highly recommended!
