Every time I visit Launceston I will always stay here, without fail. Wonderful hospitality/staff - while may be a contact free check in they are always communicative, and there to help just a msg away if need be.
Location ideal - close to everything you need, even walking distance to gorge, restaurants, cafes… beautiful view from the upstairs bedroom window!!
Super comfortable, all amenities you’d possibly need are covered and then some - the rooms are all super spacious, always clean, and homely. Large balcony, sun drenched. Then a great ethical standard too. I LOVE this place - will be back next time!

This is a very neat place to stay. Rooms and living areas are great. The parking is a bit tight with bigger cars and you have to be cautious. There is no heating or cooling in the bedrooms in the apartment we stayed in. This is not a complaint, though. It was actually a beautiful stay here.

Change Overnight, Launceston. Right, so, this place is... quirky. Eclectic, they call it. I call it "a fever dream designed by a committee of interior design students." Self-check-in? Fine, if you like talking to a screen. But the rooms! Massive. Like, "you could play badminton in here" massive. I ended up with a two-bedroom palace because apparently, they were all booked out, and I'm guessing most of the groups were travelling with their entire extended families.

Now, the background noise. Oh, the background noise. I spent a good hour convinced someone was watching TV at an ungodly volume. Turns out, it's the hotel's "theme." Apparently, ambient noise is their thing. It's like they're trying to recreate the experience of living next to a busy airport, but indoors.

Checking in was a kerfuffle, thanks to some travel aggregator shenanigans. Apparently, my booking was playing a game of "now you see it, now you don't." But hey, eventually, I got a key (or a code, whatever).

The washer in the room? Utterly useless. It's like it's designed to gently caress your dirty clothes rather than actually clean them.

Overall, a decent experience, if you can tolerate the noise, the questionable washer, and the "eclectic" decor. And if you're travelling in a group, those giant rooms are a godsend.

The location was central to Launceston and restaurants and pubs in the city and the apartment was well appointed and clean. Comfy bed.
The garage was small and I had trouble getting my car into a tight spot. The process of getting into the apartment was a challenge different codes for lifts and doors. Not enough instructions for appliances. Couldn’t turn the oven on as microwave covered the switch.
There was a problem with noisy neighbours which was handled very quickly and efficiently.

The location is great. However, the graffiti in the external corridor, the white noise, and the graffiti inside the room made me feel uncomfortable and a bit scared. I even had trouble sleeping on the first night due to fear, which affected my rest. I recommend that the host mention these details in the hotel description so that more sensitive travelers can be aware. Other than that, the facilities are excellent, and the location is very convenient.

We had the best experience staying at Change Overnight. A 10 out of 10 on everything, especially the service. It was phenomenal considering the date changes we had to keep making dueto Cyclone Alfred messing with our flights. Nothing was too difficult and they went out of their way to help and find fabulous solutions. We have stayed here every time we come to Launceston and would recommend it to everyone. Thanks so much Change. xx

This hotel in Launceston is probably the worst hotel that I've ever stayed at. This place oozes depression. If that's what they set out to achieve as you walk to your room then they've succeeded. The black corridors and evil looking so called art along with the sound effects is ridiculous. The justification of change being represented as you walk into the light of the room doesn't wash, sorry. More ridiculous art in the room. I don't need a child staring at me while I watch TV, thanks.

I actually booked 2 separate nights at this place and haven't bothered coming back for the 2nd night. That's what I thought of the place. I preferred to stay somewhere not so morbid. And your 21 day cancellation in advance or no refund policy is a joke. 5 star hotels don't do this.

That's a first & last time for me. Some photos on your site so as to inform people up front on what they can expect of the environment that they're about to enter would be helpful.

The corridors were very dark!! The stairs to bedrooms steep. Would be good to have a toilet downstairs. On a positive note was in a great spot, was well equipped and the beds were comfortable
