Was pleasantly surprised with the caring attitude and atmosphere of the hotel 🏨 staff/owners ... they looked after the older people with beautiful warmth ✨️ and care ..... felt loved 😍

Food was on the table quickly, and the service was great.
They do honor the senior's card. and ask if we were enjoying our meals, there were 8 of us.
It was a birthday occasion for one of our group.

We had a table of 4 and we all ate something different and we all had to agree how lovely the food was ,not only did the pork melt in my mouth but it was affordable staff were very friendly
We often eat around town but I must say this is now the top of our list for pub meals .

i was here today family group of 18 .we had all different meals food was awesome very tasty nice size , hot and quick service staff very friendly polite warm atmosphere relaxing will come again

Dined here twice. Both times have been good.
Food is always nice, and decent amount on your plate. Salad was nice and fresh. Food came out nice and hot (we were a large group everyone was happy)
Prices are affordable
They also have a senior menu and have half sizes on menu for some items.

Came here for a meal. Have often been disappointed by pub meals these days, but no here!
I had the slow roasted pork and it was fantastic. Well exceeded my expectations for a pub meal.
It gets 11 out of 10 from me.
The service was also great. Friendly and efficient staff.
Do yourself a favour. Come for a meal.

I was pleasantly surprised by a recent visit for dinner to the Challenge Gardens Hotel. I had a beef schnitzel, salad, chips and gravy. The price was pretty much in line with similar venues but the quality and quantity of the meat was well above the normal standard and was cooked to perfection.
Also worthy of mention was the service which was first class and the tap beer specials which went all night - $5 pints are great value. Some others at the same table were a bit disappointed with their steaks being a bit chewy but overall the standard was very good.
